Great for cuddly couples
Bought two of these for the zip together feature. My spouse and i like to holiday in public use cabins now and then, and part of the appeal of a holiday in the middle of nowhere is getting close (wink wink) so we don't want to be sequestered in separate sleeping bags. It's tough to find reasonably priced, light and warm bags that zip together, which is why i took a chance ordering these. Because we stay in cabins (usually with wood stoves), we don't have to worry about temps below freezing and we are sheltered from rain/snow and elevated above the cold ground. It's fancier than backpacking, but sometimes we have to hike there and we want a light, compact bag and not a fat polyester car camping bag. So these bags hit our sweet spot and i'm really happy with them. They puff up quick and go back in the stuff sack easily. They're comfortably warm, probably fine to about 40F even for the cold blooded, and the down filling feels generous and even. When you slip into the bag, it feels like a warm cloud. The two zippers (one for the foot area, another for the side from knee to shoulder) is genius because we can zip the footbox to lock the bottom of the bags together, but we each have control of our side venting and the zipper won't get undone too far and then you're groping around at the bottom of the bag to yank it back up. The tapered shape is perfect, with plenty of foot room without the excess bulk of a straight rectangle. My spouse is 6' and we both fall in the L/XL size range (we are not backpacker skinny) and the bags don't feel tight, or like we are too squished. The bags lack some of the features of top tier bags like a zipper baffle, or a softer lining fabric, but it feels like those were weight choices and not because the manufacturer cheaped out. The bag fabric is the same inside and out, and it's a little plasticy and rustly and can be sticky on bare skin. But it is a quality lightweight coated fabric and the feathers do not poke through. Some of the reviews mentioned a smell but ours didn't have that issue. Overall i am very pleased with the bags and i think the value is amazing. To get the same quality and features we'd probably pay triple the cost at the three letter outdoor store.

Very high quality, lightweight summer bag/quilt
Mine just arrived, as I'm prepping for a five-day outing where the low temps will range between 58º and 65º. My regular down sleeping bag was just too warm at this location last month. I've been experimenting with using my bag unzipped like a quilt, with good results, except my heavier down mummy bag is oddly shaped when unzipped and the hood area at the head is all kinds of awkward when using the bag like a quilt. I wanted something. . .rectangular. I'm a big fan of down, and was looking at options like the ZenBivy, but that appears really expensive for what is basically a quilt. So I was shopping for down quilts when I ran across this down sleeping bag, and I verified that it can be fully unzipped and used as a quilt. Now that it has arrived, I'm really happy with it. Here are the main things I want to get across to potential buyers: -It's very high quality. -Mine has ZERO ODOR to it. The reviewers that wrote about odor really had me nervous about this purchase. I'm happy to report that mine has no odor whatsoever. I say: Buy with confidence! -The zippers are really big and strong. I have confidence in them. -It has two zippers: One for the foot box area, and one for the rest of the bag. They meet around mid-calf area, and can both be undone to make a big rectangular quilt, which I mainly intend to use this bag. -It comes with a very high quality compression sack. Not cheap garbage. -The 20D nylon material of the bag is very smooth, almost like thin plastic. I expect it to be highly moisture resistant. -I've unpacked mine and it's still lofting up, but there isn't a tremendous amount of loft to it. It's a thin sleeping bag. Consider this a warm-weather bag only. I would not use this as my only bag below 50º. I can see packing this along with my heavier down bag and using them together for really cold temperatures. -I think this is perfect for summer camping if you're torn between being a quilt sleeper and a bag sleeper. I intend to use this as a quilt, but I have some peace of mind that if it gets a bit cooler, I can zip it together as a rectangular bag. It is thin and lightweight enough that I can definitely see bringing it along with my heavier down bag for cold nights, to use an an extra quilt or bag layer. -Others recommended using a bag liner if using this as a sleeping bag, saying this is a bit TOO moisture resistant. I think that's good advice, as the material is almost like thin plastic, while still being smooth nylon. A cotton bag liner will help you not drip sweat back onto you. -I think it's the perfect lightweight down quilt!

Good to about 55 degrees
This is a nice lightweight quilt for warm weather. I used it with a sleeping bag liner and was comfortable down to about 55 degrees. Below 50 degrees I was cold, even with the sleeping bag liner.

Really good value. Recommended.
It's turned out to be very practical, comfy sleeping bag, as long as it's not very cold, and especially at this price. If it were baffled with offset stitching, it would be a lot warmer, but also much more expensive than with the simple tube stitching. Make sure to really shake it out properly each time you use it to really loft the down, so it isn't clumped up. Clumped up down doesn't insulate. At first, the fabric seemed really weird. It literally felt, and looked, like a plastic bag, but, as I've used it, I've found it be very pleasant. It's no stickier than any other rip-stop nylon I've used, though much lighter. The included compression stuff sack doesn't compress it as much as it could, because the cinch buckles are at the end of a too-long bit of webbing, but maybe they decided that was best for some reason. It compresses pretty small, but anyway, if you want it smaller, it could be with a different sack. I think it's a good buy, and with this plus my much costlier 30° down quilt, I'm set for warm weather down to even very cold nights with a lot possibilities for real comfort. An insulated air mattress is an absolute must, or you'll be cold no matter what!

Outstanding for it’s intended purpose
Just used this on a three day AT hike with windy evenings down to the mid 40s. This bag was everything I hoped it would be. Warm enough two nights standalone and warm enough the coldest night with a base layer on. If your focus is a balance of warmth/pack weight/reasonable cost after years of searching this is one of the best I’ve found. It’s comfortable and not too noisy, packs small and weighs less than other bags I’ve used in this type weather, and held up to my dog and I being our usual destructive selves. Definitely worth a look.

Updated review
Updated review. After using this bag for 2 summers, it performed very nicely. It is a great bag for late spring through early fall, where the temps do not get too low at night. The initial bad smell never returned, so either I got a bag that was filled with dirty down, or just bad luck. Either way, after washing the bag, it performs nicely and as expected. It is super light weight, packs down super small, and can be completely unzipped and opened up like a quilt. So overall, the bag was a good purchase. Raising my rating from 1 star to 3 stars, and it would have been EASILY 5 stars if the down had not been so "Fowl" smelling!! I received this sleeping bag 5/26/2022. Upon unpackaging, this sleeping bag smelled absolutely horrible! It had a very, very overpowering smell of poultry. No way could I sleep in this bag on a backpacking trip with this smell. This mission statement on their storefront "ZOOOBELIVES is the brand of ZOBON INC of its own kind, which prides itself in selling unique outdoor products of the highest quality.", does not hold true with this sleeping bag. For $84 I would expect that the down used in this bag, would be clean and free of smells. Especially the smell of nasty feathers. I washed this bag in the washing machine, and put it in the dryer on low heat. About 20 minutes into the dry cycle, the smell of this bag had our laundry room smelling like a farmyard! So I pulled the bag out, and hand washed it. I had to drain the water and refill the wash tub twice, because the water was so dirty. And the smell. I cannot even begin to tell you just how bad it smelled. A mixture between a wet dog and a chicken farm. It was bad! So bad, that our washroom smelled bad enough that I had to Febreeze it! I let the bag soak in the wash tub both times for 30 minutes. After the 2nd soaking/wash, I rinsed the bag and the water was finally clean. I then placed the bag back in the dryer and threw 3 bounty sheets in with it to make sure that the smell was indeed gone. After about 2 hours in the dryer, the sleeping bag was completely dry. And the horrible stench was gone. IF this company truly prides themselves on "Highest Quality" gear, then the QC for the down in these bags needs to be a lot better!! I purchased a down bag from one of the major manufacturers of tents, and that sleeping bag had NO bad smells. And I have also purchased multiple of the packable down throws, and none of them have smelled this way! In the pictures, you can see just how dirty the water was. The final picture of the bag in the wash tub, was after the 2nd wash and during the rinse. The water was clean. And the smell was gone as well. So I spent 3 or 4 hours cleaning a "New" sleeping bag! Now that it is clean, the loft is even better than it was before I washed it! I will update on the performance of this bag when I get it out in the woods. It was purchased as a summer bag, so it should perform good as that. But, we will see.

Not the best fit for broad shoulders.
My husband and I just took these out for the first time. I’m 5’7 and 190lbs and my husband is 6ft and about 210lbs. The bags are a good length but our shoulders were barely able to fit in the bag. Not the bag for you if you have a large build with broad shoulders. My husband couldn’t even zip his up all the way. It got down to 42 degrees and we had to break out the emergency blankets because these do not hold heat or keep you very warm. This may make a nice summer sleeping bag once nights average 60 degrees and I lose about 40lbs. The material was soft and pleasant. Zippers worked well. Also came with a very nice compress sack and fit in our bags easily.

Wow....How Can You Beat The Price
This is a very nice light sleeping bag that I feel certain will be more than adequate for temps down in the 50's or 40's. Seems to be well constructed and there is zero odor as some reviewers have mentioned. The material seems to be a sealed nylon. The downfill is evenly dispersed and baffled well. The stuff sack is of sufficient size and has compression caps of which one end is attached to the stuff sack so it doesn't get lost. I like that it is more of a quilt but can be easily converted into more like a bag with little loops and hooks, much like a Zenbivy. Two bags can be joined at the zippers for a double bag. I would recommend getting a sheet insert to further the comfort level and protect the bag from oil and dirt. Also, I can see where the fabric might feel a bit uncomfortable to some as it seems to have a polished finish. For $80 for a 600 fill......how in the world can you beat this deal? I am amazed.

There's a good purchase, then there is a great purchase like this!
Purchased with the thought of a light weight Summer fast packing sleeping bag. It is light weight It is warm This bag goes with me everywhere! I first tested it out in the fall, and was very impressed night time temperature dropped to -2°C; I did have a stove in the tent for warmth, but was so impressed I tried it again in February, same tent and stove set up. Temperatures started at -17°C and although I was wearing my warm base layers with the stove burning, this bag alone was sufficient to keep me warm and comfortable with just enough notice to get the stove relit from the coals. The exterior fabric is noisy, but it is easy to clean. I have always used it within a tent or vehicle, I am a little skeptical of its durability but there isn't alot of reason to put it through an extreme bush durability test.

Very comfortable, spacious, lightweight - not very warm
I don’t agree with reviews that say it’s not breathable. It’s super light, nice size (I’m 6’2”), and the material is actually very soft (not plasticky at all). I wouldn’t recommend it for under 10 degrees Celsius as it’s not warm. Good quality all around. 4 stars only because it claims it can handle cooler weather which it cannot.
