Not irritating *by O***. on December 31, 2023* I don’t usually write reviews but I really love this yarn, however there are two caveats : It is somewhat difficult to foundation crochet with due to some mild yarn splitting (then again FC is not my strong suit. the WHITE color way was nearly impossible to chain without splitting every time so I gave up, but Slate and other color ways like blue/purple have worked out fine). Secondly, bamboo fibers retain moisture quite WELL if you decide to wet block. Takes a while to dry and ended up using a blow dryer on cool to prevent felting. I began using Truboo a few years ago when I became a more intermediate crocheter and love the texture of the product it works up — So soft and smooth and not like traditional acrylics or wools that tend to irritate my skin. Quite thin if you’re looking to SC but worth it IMO.
