Only 1 hour recharging time . Batteries lasting longer than non rechargeable ones in our tree lights.... what's not to like...

Generally a good value product let down slightly as it is inconsistent in its reaction to batteries that appear OK on other chargers. It sometimes suggests battery as faulty when it charges normally on another charger and works normally afterwards. Its advantage, however, is its speed of charging so I am generally happy with it.

Awesome! Repeat purchase. I use these with an Opus BT-9100 charger, and these are my go-to batteries for almost everything. They last - both in each use, and over recharge after recharge. Pro tip: charge as slowly as you can for the best overall battery life. I’ll use 200mA/h if I’m not in any hurry, 500mA/h to speed things up, and rarely to never do I need 1,000/2,000mA/h recharging rate. Note that the NI/MH chemistry provides .2-.3V less than standard batteries, which works fine for almost everything I use them in. Yes, flashlights would be slightly dimmer for example, not to the extent I can even tell. To not buy countless disposable batteries I’m totally okay with that! Most devices that have a battery status indicator will show these as not 100% full also due to the lower voltage. These batteries handle high current demands very well (flashlights), and good overall life for slow drain devices (remote controls). I’ve been using some for years, only buying more as my needs increase. Even after years, I’ve not had to retire even one of these batteries!

Best investment I've made for my rechargeable Energizer batteries thus far. This has charged 4 batteries at a time in less than 1 hour every time since I've got the thing (used it at least 30 times by now). This thing's a champ for sure. HUGE time saver (compared to the slower chargers out there). No more charging my 16+ batteries all day or over the course of a week (when I get the chance to switch them out). This charger will make the batteries get quite hot because it hauls a**, but nothing too crazy heat wise in my opinion, just be quick and careful if anything. So my older slower battery charger has a loud BEEP sound that alerts you when the batteries are done charging (along with the green lights). This charger though does not beep at all, and not sure why they took that out, but hey, it works WAY FASTER than the beeping one. So the tradeoff: I have to keep my eye on the thing constantly for full green lights (if I'm in a time crunch for getting more than 4 batteries recharged with this single charger). Sort of a bummer, but have to work around it. Re-concerning the potential battery heat: Some people might be sensitive to the heat level of the batteries immediately after they're done charging, but I myself easily pop the batteries off onto a table and let them cool off for a minute or 2 before handling them again. Ez pz. Honestly, this would have been the best of the best charger ever if they made it BEEP at the end of charging, but all good, the speed is what this thing brings to the table.

This is an excellent charger and it charged 16 rechargeable batteries just in under four hours doing it 4 batteries at a time. I have owned a lot of chargers that usually take between five and 10 hours to recharge the batteries and this one takes between 45 minutes and one hour. The only thing to keep in mind is that when the batteries are done charging, they will be extremely hot and you have to let them cool down a bit before you touch them. Other than the heat, there are no issues and a helpful status bar is digitally displayed to show charging status!! I will but this again, good value!!! The cost is higher than cheaper models but you are paying for the blinding speed.
