Review: Nicely mad, works well for what I need - This is a beautiful piece of leather shaped into a nicely made portfolio. It's got some great stitching, quality of leather and design. I wanted to treat myself to something nice because I work very hard (don't we all) and once in a while, it's what seemingly keeps us sane. This is extravagant enough for me to be beautiful, nicely designed but simple. It's got places for business cards (or credit), an iPad if you so choose and also a few little surprises to make my day a lot easier to get through. The leather is very impressive and fragrant and it also came well-oiled. Overall, I absolutely love this and think it should last quite a long time. It's a nice piece and well worth the money. As I've said before, I've paid a lot more for a lot less!

**Q: could I put a wire bound note book it in?   or only a pad of paper....**
A: The issue is the opening for the pad. It is in the top so to secure, only a pad of paper would slide in. Now I have seen spiral bound pads with a back that would slide down into the slot but unsure where those were from.

**Q: Are these made on the USA?**
A: Nope these Leather portfolios are handmade by Indian artisans in INDIA.

**Q: Will a galaxy A7 tab fit in here?**
A: Probably not, I find it difficult to add anything but a legal size paper pad.

**Q: I think that I am getting the idea and understand thick and hard but, what is "hardbound"?**
A: Imagine the difference between a softcover and hardcover book.  Hardbound here means the left and right sides are stiff, rather than floppy.  They have a stiff board with cloth sewn to cover the inside.

I have been very pleased with this portfolio. I wanted to treat myself to a nice leather one that would age and gain some character, and this guy fits the bill. It hasn't worn quickly either, it looks almost as good as the day I bought it. Has been riding around with me to and from work every day for over half a year. Stitching is top notch and hasn't popped anywhere. I have it fairly loaded up with files at the moment too, no complaints. Actually here to buy a tablet holder from the same folks and thought I ought to leave a reveiw while I was here. Wonderful quality, and it's going to just look better and better with age.
