Sprayway SW848 Aerosol Plastic Cleaner, 19 oz

I used to use Plexus for the windshield on my motorcycle and fishing boat, and the hatches of my sailboat, but the price has gone up to around $30 a can, so I started looking are an alternative, and this is it. Works just as good as Plexus at less than half the cost.

Cleans plastic without a lot of work

I was looking to replace another Companies discontinued plastic cleaner/protectant and this Sprayway SW848 definitely fits the bill. A non-greasy cleaner that doesn't streak, even on windows. And they are 19oz cans versus 12oz cans. The only issue I have with the product is that when you are spraying the product onto a surface to clean the very bottom of the sprayer nozzle will foam up and drop a foamy glob onto either the floor or the surface you are cleaning. Not all the sprayer nozzles or cans did this but after exchanging the sprayer nozzle around from another can the issue disappeared. So make sure to save the spray nozzles.

Works great for plastic headlights , tail lights that are slightly yellow. Add wax after to help seal n last longer

Complete waste of money on a premium priced product. Not the first review where the sprayer was messed up. Don't waste your money. Oh and no way to contact the US based seller on their web site.

About 12 years ago, I had a watercolor framed with plexiglas instead of real glass, and the owner of the little frame shop gave me (or probably sold me) a can of this Sprayway Industrial Plastic Cleaner, along with a cloth diaper, to care for the plexiglas. I eventually tried it on glass, and was blown away by how clean and streak-free the results were. I use it now to clean my windows. No "glass cleaner" I've tried has ever done as good a job so easily. I am tempted to try Sprayway's glass cleaner, but I can't imagine that it could be better than this. It comes out as a foam, and you only need a small amount (less than you might think). The nice thing about it being a foam is that it doesn't drip; if you use a liquid glass cleaner on picture frame glass, you can ruin the picture or the matte if any of it seeps down between the frame and the glass or plexiglas. Try it with a microfiber cloth on windows and mirrors. I still have a little bit left of that original can; never wanted to use it up because I couldn't find it anywhere (that frame store no longer exists), and I have searched for it probably once a year or so. Very pleased to see that I can now order some more on Amazon.

It worked well but needed two different towels to get the acrylic clean and clear of cleaner. Same with glass. But happy to have it
