Lunar Tides Hair Dye - Amethyst Purple

Very dark green and vibrant. Doesn't dry out the hair much either leaving it silky and smooth.

This is the best hair dye I’ve ever used. I will never be using anything else besides this. The color is so vibrant and beautiful and exactly the emerald green I was looking for. It does stain like any other hair dye but it easy to remove. Love, love, love!

I've been dying my hair now for several years - almost every color of the rainbow. Mostly purple and blue, a red here and there; but I have never ventured out into the green shades until I came upon Juniper Green. I didn't want to look like a circus clown and I am very picky about my colors. I bought Lunar Tides' Juniper Green and applied it this morning. Easy Peasy rich luxurious cream that applied like a dream! My hair is a mixture of pure white in the front and darkening as it runs back along my scalp - hence, bold color in front, graded in the back. My sides are very short and naturally white, the top is longer and floppy - awesome look and I get a lot of complements. I applied it as I usually do, with a brush - gloves - hair clips, tail comb, Vaseline around the hairline. I am no colorist or stylist - I am an RN and I do not have any experience in hair cutting or color. Like I said, I get A LOT of complements from my patients and staff where I work. I kept it on for 45 minutes and rinsed until clear - a bit of conditioner, a quick blow dry and - viola! beautiful hair color! I am giving this 5 stars for ease of application and rinsing and the gorgeous color. I will update in a week or so... Buy this product!

Made the mistake of dying my hair with Color Ion Brilliance in Jade. Beautiful color initially but faded within 4 days to a very blue/teal - totally not what I wanted. Then used Juniper Green - I love it! It's a true green (actual green not blue-green/teal). In the sunlight quite vibrant, but otherwise more muted, deeper forest-y shade. I have thin, fine, long hair/balayage highlights. Used about half of one jar to cover same. Has been fading nicely. Slight staining to tub, definitely have seen worse with other brands. Just bought a whole bunch more!

I had wanted to switch up my hair from pastel blue to a pretty forest emerald green, so i had gotten the juniper green, but that ended up making my hair Christmas green. So i thought if i got the cerulean sea it would turn my green to emerald......and it did the color is super pretty. The problem is that when i had washed my hair after i had put it in i had expected it to rinse the color out and that totally normal , But im on my sixth wash and it is still coming out of my hair like the first rinse, which is NOT normal. It stained everything my hands, the shower, any shirts that i wear, my neck EVERYTHING!! So basically the color stays in for a long time just every wash it stains everything everytime.

I was really excited when the color came out so vibrant, but after only 3 washes the black is fading to grey and the orange makes my hair look more like a darker blonde. For context I used the Solar Flare and Eclipse Black to do Calico Hair, and I left it in for about 5 hours before rinsing it out. After the first wash the colors started to kind of mix, but the colors were still vibrant, however after the third wash it is not so vibrant anymore. I have been conscience of keeping the water cooler when washing my hair and using dye safe shampoo, and am a little disappointed in the current results. However it could just be my hair, the only two hair dyes I have gotten to last long without blending into other colors is Manic Panic and Bleach London, so if this does not last as long as you want it to I'd suggest trying either one of those brands.

My 14 year old son loves this dye. He has very dark brown hair and my stylist lifts his color with highlights and then applies the product. This pic shows his head with full highlights- she usually just does the crown, front and sides but it has been a while since his color was last lifted so she did all over. It smells incredible- like everyone said and the color lasts very long. He doesn't wash his hair everyday so it's about 3 months until he has to re-up the color and about 8 months until he has to get highlights again for the new growth. Beautiful color.
