Lol My son has an obsession with sprinkles at the moment so we needed to make a sprinkle birthday cake. I stumbled across these in a local store and for the first time in my life, actually used the entire large bottle. I was so surprised they actually tasted good, a little sweet and we're a tiny bit soft, not the waxy, tasteless, rock hard sprinkles you'd normally get. They didn't bleed their vibrant colors in the batter either. However, that usually happens with any sprinkle mostly due to user error. If you add the sprinkles too early in your mixing and/or overmix your batter or let a wet batter sit too long, most likely you'll get sprinkles to bleed. Its best to add them at the very end and gently fold them into whatever you're making. I've never had an issue with these and we've made sprinkle pancakes with them alot, regular cakes and they get randomly sprinkled on things for fun, like a bagel with cream cheese or butter. All of those wet, gooey, greasy places I've used these sprinkles have not made them bleed once. I will say though, the bottle we bought at the store had an easy open top, unlike this identical one which is oddly impossible to open by hand without cutting yourself. I've had to use a butter knife to pop the lid. I wish I would've saved my old containers lid. Hopefully, with time, it will loosen up the tightness in the seal a bit and be easier to open by hand. All in all, super purchase and will be our go-to sprinkles. I can't wait to bake this holiday season!
