I wish they could provide a proof that they are cruelty free, but somehow they fail to do so. I believe it is because the finish product is not tested on animals, yet the ingredients sure did. **Q: Safe to use on 2.5 year old? should i stick to spf50? child in advertising.** A: I use it on my 2 very sensitive children (3 & 1yr old). They react to every other brand I have tried so far - all the mainstream ones that claim to be great, yet this stuff has been no problem and is amazing. I can’t fault it. The only thing I found was it applied very oily to my skin compared to other sunscreens I’ve used. Therefore, I didn’t enjoy it as much. I can see why people hype this though but it’s just not for me. The application itself spreads very easily, although it stings my eyes so I wouldn’t recommend putting it around your eyes. My eyes are very sensitive though, so someone may not find it as irritating. I had no reaction to this other than the eye irritation - no break outs. It has no fragrance or alcohol which is great. Everytime I applied it my skin texture would look even smoother which is what I like about it and is effective in protecting you from the sun if used properly. The price point is fantastic and for the formula I think there isn’t a fault. It just wasn’t for me, due to the fact it was oily for my skin (I put a lot of sunscreen) so I won’t be repurchasing. If anything, this would probably be my option B if my favourite sunscreens were out of stock. I overall recommend it though because it’s so affordable and the formulation is great.
