I suggest!!! *by A***R on July 2, 2020* July 1 2020I love my TUMI suitcase!!! It is awesome!! The only thing I suggest is to be sure to Carry it onboard. I checked it at counter to go under plane and when I got it back my shiny red suitcase had black rubber marks all over it. Of course theBelow wing staff threw it all around!!. I took it to the TUMI store here in Indianapolis Indiana and not much they could do except advise to use a 409 spray. It didn’t work. I still love this suitcase but will never check my bag again. Great buy & lots of compartments , minus the rubber marks ! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks great, but check the size *by S***G on December 3, 2016* I really want to like this bag...and now that I've used it, I do...After receiving it, I found out that the 16" width is perfectly fine as a carry-on if you fly Virgin America or Southwest. If, on the other hand, you happen to fly Delta, American or United, they all have a limit of 14" width for a carry-on. That doesn't necessarily mean they are going to stop you from using it as a carry-on, but my wife has a 16" wide bag and has been forced to check her bag on a few occasions. I really would prefer not to check this bag, so I'm seriously considering returning it and getting the 14" wide version. It's a good looking piece of luggage and it definitely will be easy to spot if you ever do have to check it, so that's a good thing.This is my first hard-sided case and it seems pretty small in terms of what you can fit into it (and the 14" wide model would be even smaller). The zipper/locking system is very nice looking and seems pretty sturdy too. I can't speak to the durability of this piece but from what I've read, it scratches easily and some people have indicated they've experienced cracks and/or holes from misuse. I only bring this up because the Tumi 5 year warranty sounds very good, however, I am unclear if this warranty applies to purchases made on Amazon. I think I'm going to be able to carry this on most, if not all the time which is great. You're not going to get more than 1-2 days worth of stuff in here, but that works for me most of the time. Great quality. ### ⭐ Not worth the money *by M***A on August 1, 2016* I purchased this Tumi based in its reputation for quality and durability. I've carried three times now and already, it's scratched (the color is not knife see, so even the slightest scratch cuts through to the white underneath) and deeply dented in the corner. The Samsonite I purchased at my local Ross for $69 held up better after five years use compared to the three months I've had this. I am deeply disappointed and feel I wasted my money.
