I don't write reviews often... but let me tell you, I have been on the HUNT for a GOOD Cake flavored protein. It's a hard flavor to perfect, but not for NutraBio... bc they have done it! I have seriously tried SO many other brands, and I honestly didn't have high hopes... as I mentioned... I'm a picky eater, so when it comes to my standards.... they're pretty high. When I first took a sip (Mixed with fat-free fairlife in my Blendjet) the first thing I noticed was the consistency, it is SO smooth, not clumpy at all, and it mixed REALLY well. Next was the flavor, first I just noticed Vanilla, but the more I drank, the more I noticed the Cake batter flavor... seriously well done. I will be a regular purchaser of this item FOR SURE! I can't wait to try making protein balls, and lots of protein snacks with it! Way to go NutraBio!

One of the best tasting cake batter flavors out there

I am a huge fan of Nutrabio. I’ve had almost all the flavors from the Classic Whey line and loved them all. This cake batter flavor is the first one I’m not a fan of. And it’s not because it tastes bad, but because I cannot get it to fully mix all the way. I can shake it in my blender bottle till the cows come home and it won’t mix. In order to get it mixed somewhat, I have to shake it vigorously then use my electric whisk to try and get the remaining lumps. Despite my efforts, I’ve never gotten this drink to fully mix. I’ve never had this issue with other flavors from this line! I’ve always loved this brand for how tasty it is and easy it mixes into liquid, so I’m surprised I got a dud.

The Cake batter flavor is very good. Mixed with fruit in a smoothie it tastes like a cheesecake type flavor. Currently I use a blend of frozen blueberries, acai and strawberries. Some milk for liquid and its great! mixed in the blender, it is easy to mix in without clumps and it has no grittiness or after taste.

I’ve really enjoyed this protein powder. It tastes great and blends really well. Ive had a subscription for it for a few months and never had a problem until recently. I received a container that looked like it’s been in a basement for months untouched and was all damaged and dented up like it was a soccer ball. It’s not a replaceable item so I have to repurchase it. I’m hoping this next delivery is much better.

Mix with frozen berries and almond milk in the blender- delicious!
