I bought this for my buddy, who loves camping, and he is absolutely infatuated with it! It is a very durable, sturdy bag that contains all the items, but I was a little shocked as to the size of the bag...it is kinda large, not for something you put in a backpack to carry, but more a stow-away thing for the vehicle. Not a carry-able item for a long hike, I can tell you that. The variety of items is great: glass breakers, fishing supplies, flashlight, etc, etc. All these items are pretty much take out of the bag and work with, no instructions. The sharp items are sharp! This item is a great item to use and keep in you vehicle for survival/camping situations. Highly recommend.

Very nice kit for the price. Is compact and covers many things. Took it on trip to boundary waters and was very useful. Also good to have around home in case of emergency.

I bought this for my wife as a “get home bag” and I’m seriously impressed. The amount of useful tools included in the bag is not only a great value but good quality also. The bag is extremely light weight and there is plenty of extra room to add additional supplies if desired. My only complaint is the inside of the bag doesn’t have any pockets or hooks. I like to use the carabiners to hook supplies on the inside of a pack instead of the outside, but it’s not a huge issue. Overall I would highly recommend, especially for what you get for the price.

This is a good quality kit for the money. I’ve put together two similar bags in the past that was much larger and heavier. There is even spare room in the bag to add an emergency radio and travel size personal hygiene items. The tools are good quality, small, but decent quality. We camp a lot, but it always seems that we don’t have something we need when we are at the beach or away from the campsite. I appreciate the different light sources, the hatchet, and the shovel too. I bought another Ready America bag with 5 year food and water with a first aid kit too. We live in the Pacific Northwest and earthquakes & fire evacuations are always a possibly.

Bought as a starter kit for grandson. good enough for beginner.
