Fit's Like a Glove, Will definitely protect against drops.
Case fits like a glove. The ports are accessible with the exception of the SIM slot. Case adds a bit of heft but not too heavy. The hinged stand offers multi-position placement. I am using the case without the included strap. The strap is included if you need it.

The best you're going to get for the G4
I previously had a G3, using the much cheaper 'healthcare' case that is available on Amazon. This is unfortunately a downgrade. The kickstand is much shorter than the stock one, so it will lean more than you're probably used to. As others have mentioned, it's a *very* tight fit. I was concerned I was going to break it while getting it in. The rear strap for your hand is also quite tight, so if you have large hands you're going to have trouble slipping in there. Perhaps over time it will become looser. All that being said, I like the pen holder. Holds it in tight and is quite convenient. It's clearly a very rugged case, it will protect your device quite well. Unlike the previous case, it doesn't have a flimsy piece of plastic near the keyboard connector, so I expect it to last a long time.
