Reading the reviews, I was expecting dead fishes in the morning. 1st dose show some improvement after 24hrs. I added 6mil the next day, getting better, 3rd day another 6mil. Now the tank is crystal clear and the fishes are still alive and all over the place. Now, someone offer me a 50gal, I wait until at least 6 months, before I even start to think about upgrading. I would definitely recommend this, go slow and follow instructions, wait 24hrs, before u treat the again. This thing WORKS, for this amateur. I had to restart my cycled tank from a year ago because everything got sick. So I started a new tank and got a bacteria bloom. It was the worst I have ever gotten. I had to take everything out of the tank for a bit becuase it was making them sick!. Then I put them back in and finally it started to clear. But the water wasn't clearing up fully. I bought this to help. I put in half of the recommened dose for the first day to not overwhelmed my tank. It cleared it up very well. Then the next day the rest of the dose and BOOM my tank is CRYSTAL CLEAR! I foyu're tank isn't clearing I haighly recommed this product.
