These bags are amazing and really work!
I have used these bags for at least 20 years and they really, really work! I am able to buy my produce once a week, store the produce either on the countertop for bananas, or lettuce and other more delicate produce in the bags in the fridge and have zero waste. It really keeps the produce fresh. I used to do the banana test to show people, put the banana in the bag, set on the counter and leave it for two weeks and the banana is not spotted or mushy.

The Best Green Bags, Debbie Meyers, without a doubt!!
I’ve used these bags for many years and I must they do exactly as the description says! They are an excellent way to store any veggies, fruit and other various perishable items. I love homemade bread and on the special occasions that I get some I always store it these bags. Even regular store bought bread is better stored in these and lasts so much longer. I haven’t had to purchase any since 2023 and am on my last one now. So I will definitely be ordering more now! These bags are the very best and can’t be compared to any other. Take the word of a 20 year user. I also don’t like to use bread ties with them in fear they may rip or tear the bags. But I shouldn’t let that worry me as they are pretty substantial. I hope this helps anyone considering these. Trust me you won’t regret this purchase!

Fresh Fruit and Veggie Storage Bags
I like the bags. They say that they keep fruits and veggies fresher. I definitely notice that they do last longer. The reason I bought them is because the new produce bags in grocery stores do not keep the produce fresh in the refrigerator. These are nice size bags. I gave them four stars because I would like it if they came with a tie, but they say you should not use them on these bags because it can create holes. It would be great if they came up with some kind of tie. I like that they are reusable and they come in different sizes.

Extends useful life and saves money
These bags work well extending the freshness of produce. We have started placing bread in the bags and that works keeping the bread fresh. Well worth the cost.

Amazed
12 days in & I'm hooked. I go to produce every week & still get spoiled items. Too many on a fixed income but fresh produce is important to skip each day. I bought my norm and am still stunned. 2 heads of iceberg lettuce, 2 because I wanted to test the bags and as of today the last of the lettuce on day 12 was still crisp. No slimy outside to peel away wasting half a head over a few days. Fresh bananas are usually inedible by day 5. I even tried the tin foil on the stems thing but still throw away too many bananas. The bananas wre still perfect on day 10. A few brown spots on the skin but the inside was perfect. Sodt & firm. Same result with nectarines, peaches, green peppers, cucs & tomatoes. I'm excited about tomatoes because I only buy 4 a trip so I don't waste em. 11 days before a soft spot. Granted a few were not quite ripe but after 2 days on the window sill, they went in a bag. I kept avouding em because I wanted to see how long they'd last. ☆☆☆☆These cost 19.99 for 30 bags and each bag is reusable up to 10 time. Rinse with hot water(no soap) and air dry. I figure if you can use them 2x you've already saved enough in produce but they're good for 10. Only minor thing is veggies with a high water content such as lettuce and peppers have accumulated water in the bag. I was on the website and saw a hack for that. Just put a paper towel in each bag. Just fold your bags over and dont overpack em & don'tstack em. The gasses can't escape the bag if they're on top of each other. A medium held 6 peaches. Maybe 2 sheets for lettuce and such. Just put in a new towel if its damp when you open the bag. Accumulated water will rot the veggies. Verdict, I'm hooked and it takes alot to surprise me but these did. 20 bucks got me enough bags for years( somewhere around 6yrs) & I figure I used to throw away at least $5 each trip. That $5 will now be goung in my grandaughters acct. 20 bucks doesn't seem alot but it ads up. Its $240 a year. Sounds like a bargain to me. I think I'm gonna try going to produce every 10 days and see how I make out. Sorry if I sounded like a infomercial but I wanted to give a real person review. don't buy the knockoffs. I had no success with 2 brand b4 I gave in and ordered these.

Keeps veggies and fruit fresh.
They work really well. I still have about half of the bags unused. We had the hard plastic containers and although they worked well, they took up too much room in our fridge. These let us put for fresh food in drawer.

I have been re-using the GreenBags I got in the US for about 10 years in Australia. They keep my lettuce and cilantro fresh for many days, but they were getting worn out. I needed new ones and found them on Amazon. Terrific! I'll be back for more . . . in a few years.

I have used her products for many years and I believe these are what they say they are! I’m vegetarian and I consume a lot of vegetables, so these keep them fresh and juicy! When I bring my veggies home from the store, I wash them in vinegar and let them sit for a bit in the vinegar solution then drain the water and let them sit in the sink until most of the moisture falls off and then I bag them in these bags or her containers (I use both!) and my veggies last for weeks! Friends always comment on how delicious my salads are and I attribute this to my fresh, juicy vegetables because of Debbie’s product! Thank you!
