I'm trying to avoid Teflon coated products.** A: I can't tell. I've been looking throughout the box and manual and can't find anything that describes what it is made from, particularly the non-stick surface, but it looks a lot like teflon. the unit itself is made from aluminum. Two substances that we're not crazy about.
