This was shocking as it left the metal wiper arm completely on the windshield... i was luck to switch it off immediately else it would have broken the windshield. I had to get out in pouring rain and check what happened. I found that the plastic lock that holds the blade on the arm had cracked and come off. I had to swap it with passenger side wiper temporarily and somehow made it out of the hilly section with only one small wiper working. Its has a very thin , flimsy lock that you snap into place after inserting the U shaped arm. Had no complaints on wiping performance but if the wiper doesnt stay locked whats the use.
