Requested Review *by S***L on Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2020* The knife cuts well enough that potatoes stick to the sides. I can slice garlic real thin with it. The hold is nice, and the balance is right above the handle where it should be. It's a good weight. The wood handle is quite symmetrical in its grain on opposing sides which I think is the most aesthetic part of the knife. I like that there is no finger guard near the bottom point above the handle, but perhaps less experienced knife handlers and cutters should shy from that exposure. The knife will require much greater care than most knives, such as frequent cleaning even while using it; but that's what I think chefs should do. I have yet to find a streakless wiping method. The reflection of the blade is blurry. The packaging was a box with a red velvety insert which the knife is fitted for. The handle had a silica-moisture pack packed into a slight gap. The length is how I like it.
