The product worked great for 1 month and then the battery pack just died. I expect to get more than 1 month out of a brand new charger. Since this is from a 3rd party vendor, they only offer a 30 day return policy and mine died at about day 35. I sent them a message asking them to replace the charger. If they are willing to replace it, I will adjust this review accordingly, but as of now, I can not recommend this product to anyone. I'm hoping it was just a singe faulty charger and they will replace it, as other reviews have been positive, hopefully they are willing to fix the issue. Stay tuned for an update Okay, update time. So after writing my above review, the company contacted me via email and apologized for the faulty charger. They offered me a full refund or to send out another product. Since most review on the product were very positive, I chose to return my faulty one and they promptly sent me a brand new charger that works perfectly. In time when customer service and satisfaction means little, this company went above and beyond to make a happy customer. So I now fully recommend this product and company, and I will no doubt use them for any further products I may need.

This charger failed after a couple of months and would not be recognized by computer any longer after that time. I've attempted to contact the seller to file a warranty claim through the link because there is supposedly a two year warranty on the product, but I have not received a response. Consider a different replacement charger.

The whole idea with a right angle tip is to keep the wire out of the way of accidentally yanking or bending it because it sticks out of the laptop. However, this item actually sticks out just as far as the original straight one. There is just no good reason for it to stick out so far. Nevertheless, it works as it should and if you hook it on something it is far more likely to unplug from the wire than to snap off in the laptop, so I gave it pretty good marks.

Worked well for my Dell but died within a few months through no wear and tear on my end.

For months I couldn't understand why my Dell laptop would run fine on its AC adapter but would not charge the battery. Then I learned that Dell power adapters communicate with the laptop to via the DC power line. My adapter was not being recognized by the laptop, so the laptop would not charge the battery. I bought the Pwr+ 90 watt adapter in the hope the laptop would recognize it and charge the battery. It worked like a charm. The laptop recognized the new AC adapter and started charging the battery immediately. The new adapter solved my problem at half the cost of a Dell factory adapter. The external appearance of the Pwr+ adapter is equivalent to any factory power adapter I've used. I'm happy with my purchase.

The product itself is worthy of at least 4 stars, but I'm giving this item a 2-star review due to a misleading description and deceptive marketing. I purchased this item specifically because it was described as an "Extra Long 14 Ft Laptop AC Adapter". For anyone interested: the AC adapter DOES NOT HAVE A 14 FT COORD!! The AC Adapter cord is only 80 inches (6 ft, 8 inches) long. That is ONLY A FOOT longer than the standard OEM adapter I originally received from DELL along with my laptop. The sellers can technically get away with the claim of a 14-ft adapter because later in the item description it says "total coord length" so it is clear they are including the separarate "mickey mouse" coord that goes from the wall to the adapter. But those coords are literally a dime a dozen. I have at least 5 of them in my drawer that have been discarded from previous laptops and other computer and home appliances. Several of the ones I have are even longer than the one provided by PWR+, which is 6 ft 3 in. More accurately the total coord length is about 13 feet, but the power brick itself is about 6 inches long. I puchased this thinking the coord attached to the adapater was 14 feet as advertized. I was hoping to hide the brick under my couch or end-table, but unfortunately the coord IS NOT LONG ENOUGH to do this and still have enough length (after the brick) to reach to my laptop. If the coord were truly 14-ft instead of 6-ft, it would have been plenty long. (Note that to add to the confusion, the seller says OEM coords are 6 to 10 ft long, which is only true if you DO NOT include the mickey mouse coord. So they are using different criteria for OEM coords than for their coord)

I forgot my power cord at home when I took off on a two-week vacation. I needed a replacement, inexpensive and quick. I ordered the Pwr+ 90W adaptor, and hoped that it would be a good temporary replacement. It has been much more than that, as I now often use it at home, especially when I need the extra long cable (my old laptop has a battery that lasts for approx. 1 minute). It has given me no problems, as a previous replacement did, and my computer seems to get all the power it needs. It was--and is--a good buy for me.

Finally, a well-made charger/power cord. After replacing several power cords for various computers, I was about to forsake all hope of buying a decent one. This cord has a thick rubber protective sleeve at the computer end of cord, where most of the stress occurs. The cord itself is slim and flexible. It exudes quality from one end to the other. Surprisingly, even the box it came in, is first class. The extra length is so convenient! It fits my Dell Inspiron 1420 perfectly. Great product.
