Save some cash and get this card!
Wanted to get a GPU that was capable of playing all the newest and most tasking games. This fits the bill nicely. Can play almost all games at High to Very High or Ultra settings. No artifacts, no noisy GPU, great low temps and was an easy fit in my case. Wasn't willing to spend a boatload of cash for something that will be supplanted by the 900 series GTX's soon, so bought this EVGA FTW version. It overclocks easily, and coming from GTX 570 SLI, it's like night and day. No more constant fans, no artifacts, no crashing, no more high temps, and best of all no more microstutter. Pros: Super low temps Easy to overclock (esp. the memory which has lots of headroom to go higher) Runs everything I throw at it without a hiccup Less than $200 price point can't be beat Maxwell = more efficient and less power consumption Silent like mouse farts Cons: Absolutely None! (and this is coming from a picky gamer)

Solid video quality for an older card
Even though this card is outdated now and has been replaced by newer models, the video quality it puts out is still impressive for its time. It ran smooth, handled everyday use without issues, and was a reliable workhorse back when it was current. If you’re restoring an older build or just need something dependable, this card still gets the job done.

First off I will start by saying another great product by a great company
First off I will start by saying another great product by a great company. I have been building pc's since 2008 as an enthusiast. I have used many gpu's from several different companies and EVGA's products are simply the best. This card performs great for the price and straight out of the box..I have seen this card get some bad reviews because of noisy fans and bad performance. I have experienced none of the issues nor have I had any issues with any of their other products (i.e power supplies). I play mostly simulators and built this pc primarily to play iRacing which it does on max settings at 120fps after some tweaks it also runs other simulation games such as American Truck Sim and Farming Sim on max settings. I believe a lot of pc components get bad reviews because the users dont know how to properly optimize their systems or understand how specific hardware works together. The specs for the system this card is used in are as follows: AMD 860K quad core cpu @3.5ghz, Asus A68HM motherboard, 8gb Hyperfury X 1866 CAS10 memory. 500watt 80+ bronze EVGA power supply. 1tb WD Blue HDD, EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti FTW gpu. and it works beautiful. Excellent performance for a very low end card.
Well, it is a good video card, and I have yet to test it on my bryce 6 program since I noticed the mem-speed drop from 1.2 ns to .5 ns (high end cards nowadays) all aspects of processing and response behavior. I noticed a lag occurring once in a while during a movie and a youtube instructional video. Hard to claim fault on card or internet provider (I am paying for high speed service). A few offline processing showed some lagging or slow response to some program. Other than that, the card works for what I need it to. If you want to compare, try matching high end cards to my older gtx 465 fermi that runs 1.2ns memory speed. Scary stuff. In addition, I notice a change that is not related to energy saver, it is the required 300w psu compared to my required 6 to 800w psu for gtx465. I'd expect a drop in wattage usage, but not a significant one. What am I saying, higher performance and an aspect coverage will require more juice. My computer is built to a high end performance with a 960 cpu and win7 pro. This card is a downgrade, but compatible. it is possible that recently corp. have separated once again video cards from graphics program processing cards?

AGAIN --- " Quit delaying & get this card"!
There are quite a few reviews for this card that all basically say the same thing; " Quit delaying & get this card"! The only thing I would add to that is a couple of specifics that might help decide: 1) My computer is a 2010 Dell Inspiron 560 with Intel Pentium Core 2 Duo processor & 4GB RAM with Intel G43/45 Chipset graphics, running Windows 7 Home Premium, I purchased for about $700.00 from WalMart. 2) I've been playing "Free-to-play" Path of Exile & that's been barely acceptable --- this card solves ALL PROBLEMS with running this game! 3) I pay monthly for Adobe Creative Cloud, but haven't been able to utilize the new 3D features of Photoshop, until now. 4) I had already purchased & installed the 8GB Corsair XMS RAM kit, ( 4 x 2 GB RAM cards). 5) I had already purchased & installed a 500W Corsair PSU that has 2 extra PCI-E plugs, so I can supply the extra power to utilize ALL the overclocking features on this card, (though I haven't yet messed with the factory settings, because everything works fine, so far). 6) It's basically "Plug-&-Play", ( just go to the EVGA website to download the latest drivers after signing up & registering your card --- don't bother with the install disc because those drivers are way behind the latest. 7) Don't forget, you will have to reset your Windows Display Settings, & make sure your Windows Sound Settings match what the card is using. 8) There's no noise from my card's cooling fans, (so I don't understand that review some people have made). 9) If you stream Amazon Prime movies with Microsoft Silverlight, you will need to uninstall & reinstall Silverlight to get the sound to play. OTHERWISE --- " Quit delaying & get this card"! LOL!!!

Best price/performance video card currently.
Recently purchased this video card for use in my home media server. Occasionally this PC will get used to play the Sims or Dota2 so I wasn't really too worried about performance as much as I was getting something that also didn't consume much power. My primary computer has been running gtx 470 sli setup since about 2009. I decided to throw this card in my main PC just for giggles. Hands down this card performs better then the 470 sli setup and it also produces far less heat (the sli'ed 470s were a damn space heater that would turn any room into a sauna) and is pretty much silent (again the sli'ed 470's under load sounded like turbine engines). I mostly play BF4, Dota2, and Diablo III. With this card I run BF4 on High settings but it runs well on the optimized settings of Ultra with some mixed high settings at 1680x1050 (sli'ed 470's had to run on Medium settings for my preferred FPS range). Dota2 and Dialob III are maxed with zero video lag. This has now become my primary card until I get a higher resolution monitor or a new video game that's too demanding for this card.

Breathing new life into my aging Dell!
For the price, an AMAZING buy. I upgraded from an old PNY NVIDIA 8800 GTS (2007), which was a great card in its day. This one blows that one out of the water, and runs significantly cooler, and uses a lot less power. I bought the FTW version for the extra cooling because I was also upgrading to a reputably hot CPU (QX6800). It holds at 27 degrees C. This version DOES require the PCIE power connector to power the ACX fans. It's the BEST graphics card you can get for an older computer system, for sure, as the fancier cards wouldn't even be fully utilized by an older system. UPDATE: 4 years later, still going strong. I recently built a new computer, replacing everything except this card. It seems silly running an i7-8700k with a GTX 750 ti, but since I don't play any serious games, this card is everything I need. It runs Cyberlink PowerDirector beautifully, and while this video editor utilizes 100% of the CPU, the GPU works at only 38% load while rendering at 1080p. It runs 2 monitors with ease, one at 2560 x 1440, the other at 1920 x 1080. It gets 4950 score on Firestrike with factory settings, which isn't great, but I haven't found a title yet that it struggles with. I had thoughts of upgrading to a 1060, but am reconsidering because the 750 ti is still working great! Just wishing NVIDIA would update with OpenCL 2.0 sometime soon.

Got this graphic card along with the 500w power supply by EVGA as well. I have a Gateway DX4870 with an ACER IPMB-AR motherboard. I bought both of these because my PC had the dreaded Intel (R) graphics that are unable to be upgraded and I recently got into playing PC games on STEAM. For older games on STEAM the Inter(r) graphics worked fine but it didnt work or render newer games that well at all. I installed this card the week the Dragonball Xenoverse game was released (the reason I bought it). I went with the GTX 750 ti because I wanted to make sure I wouldnt need to buy another graphic card for awhile. Installation was easy, but when I turned the PC on I got no picture. I worked with it for hours until I realized I was supposed to connect my flat screen tv to my PC by the HDMI cable....DUH!!!! (Did I mention this was the first time I even done something like this?!?) After connecting my HDMI cable(which I bought from Amazon too) everything worked crisp and clear. Updated drivers by letting NVIDIA recognize the card inside my PC and I was off to kick punch and explode things. Haven't had any problems as of yet and I hear absolutely no noise from the fans. Anyway, goes to show that you always need to research your specs and hardware thoroughly before buying things, so you dont have to wrestle with unnecessary headache!!!!! This was a great buy!

A build which speaks of quality.....
It arrived so very well packaged ( I mean someone has actually sat and planned how best to package the thing! the touch of anti static rubber on the board interface a little detail but significant of someones efforts) and had quite a lot bundled by way of monitoring and overclocking software as well as the typical EVGA case badge. Oh and there was a nice little dvi to vga adapter, which is handy. OKay I have used the card for a while now and it's great; does what it says, does it quietly and does it very well. My setup isn't the fastest (core 2 quad) but it's reliable. I would go so far as to say this is a great card for dragging older units into recent gaming. I whole heartedly recommend this card not least because it 'is' good for 3D as well, not just a gimmick but good. So there we have it, a good low power card for older systems, quiet gaming and 3D. Enough said....
