It is an excellent lead. It looks very well made and should stand up to years of use provided the owner takes good care of it. Leashboss is customer service oriented and very nice to do business with if you have any problems or concerns, so I never hesitate to recommend their products.My only criticism of this lead is in agreement with reviewer Jonathan Covert who correctly observed that this is not a double strength lead at the point where it connects to the heavy silver snap at the end. This is the one weak point in an otherwise excellent product, but as I have yet to have any problems due to this fact, I will not deduct a star from my rating.The snap seems sturdy, and the rest of the lead is doubled and looks well sewn and very strong. I do not know why the lead is not doubled at that crucial end point, but perhaps it is unavoidable do to the space available on the snap itself. Should I ever have a problem with this lead due to this one weak point, I shall revise my review accordingly. Otherwise, this is a well made, sturdy, attractive lead. It does seem a tad expensive for anyone on a tight budget, but the quality is comparable to the price point. The buyer is not overpaying by much if a all. You could buy another lead for half the price of this one, but I doubt it would wear as well as this one or last as long, so as the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for." If you want top quality, you have to pay for it.
