When making smoothies for later how long does a premade smoothie last in the fridge?

I make a smoothie from about 15 fresh and frozen fruits and fresh vegetables in a VitaMix and fill all 8 clear plastic bottles and put them on the upper shelf of the fridge and drink them over the next week. I have sometimes had the smoothie start to ferment by the end of the week if I've used vegetables like a cucumber that were maybe a bit old, but it's still drinkable. However, for the smoothie to retain the most nutrients it would probably be better to drink immediately what you make.

Do i need special equipment to cap the bottles?

You need one hand to hold a bottle and another hand to screw on the cap. It is also possible using one hand: Set a bottle down on a flat surface. Using the thumb and index finger, screw on the cap while holding the bottle with the other three fingers. However, you may not be able to screw the cap on as tightly as when using two hands. I really like these bottles. I use them for whole fruit and vegetable smoothies that I make in a VitaMix. The bottles and caps clean really easily just with water. Any remaining food just slides right off the plastic. I have also put them through the dishwasher and they are fine.

This product states reusable...Where can I purchase the evident tamper replacement caps?

I don’t know. I am using the original lids.
