They work on a 2002 duramax
I had a bad tank strap on my truck so I bought these. They fit just the same as the originals. A bit hard to get on because the oem bolt is too short. Once you get it started it’s easy. Good value for my money.

Perfect fit!
worked perfect for me. My truck is a 2003 GMC 1500HD with quadrasteer. Bolted in super easy. One bolt per strap. The other side of the strap hooks into a bracket. not hard to figure out once you see it. Does come with both straps for the tank. It definitely needed doing, the ones on there were pretty tender, not something you want holding up a large heavy fuel tank. Good price, good fit, good product. Would recommend if in need!

Lesser strap than original
I'm grateful that the cost was low but would have paid more if it was as good as the OEM part I'm replacing. The metal is thinner and there is no rubber coating which is an excellent way to ward of future rust. The metal strap I'm replacing held up fairly well with the exception of one strap that was in a tight area and prone to water buildup. The old straps were flat steel while the new ones are curved at the edges conceivably to prevent rusted jagged edges from piercing the tank. I'll probably coat the new straps with a urethane/rubber coating from a can. The thinner gauge metal used also concerns me as most metals in the last decade or more are quite prone to rusting due to low ore content.
