*UPDATE/2nd Trimester* Y’all - Two YEARS and Proov changed everything
***Just to send some encouragement, I posted this originally when I was barely testing positive for pregnant, but holding my breath in that vulnerable early detection window.. Turns out.. It wasn’t a chem, no early miscarriage, I’m currently in my second trimester. Monitor your body, just tune in with all of Proov’s resources. It seems too easy, especially if you’ve been on the fertility roller coaster. Just listen to yourself, you will tell yourself exactly what to do and when, with the help of Proov’s products. They’re the messenger, it’s up to you what to do, it’s valuable information. Baby dust to all ❤️*** So, we’ve actually been trying for about two years - have used all sorts of products and teas and combinations of dietary modifications which ended in disappointment, chem preg, early miscarriages- it’s been awful emotionally as well as taken a toll on my body. Somehow the combination of Proov’s LH strips for the ovulation spike, PDG strips to confirm ovulation, then using the Pro supplements and Balancing oil for the last two weeks of the cycle WORKED. This company is run by women, was created by a woman with fertility issues (I did my research before investing in this group of products - they seem expensive but they realistically aren’t if you consider the cost of months of things you’ve already tried or the immeasurable cost of the range of emotions, or your time scouring the internet for solutions - let’s admit, the internet can be terrifying with fertility “rabbit holes” so to speak) it’s “PROOV-EN” itself to be priceless. I’ll put this review on all of the products I used. -Proov Predict LH -Proov Confirm PDG -Proov PRO Supplements -Proov Balancing Oil I am not a doctor, I am not an employee of Proov, I am not a paid reviewer. I am an every day person - a woman and mother who has struggled with frustrating fertility issues for two years, and believe that every woman should have this information, and every woman should not have to suffer endless disappointment with what superpower our bodies can do: grow a healthy, happy baby. I am your neighbor, your friend, the woman you walk past in the grocery store, the woman in the car next to you at the stoplight. We are a special community - we are all women - and have a unique and special ability. We just have to balance the things we cannot see: our hormones. Stop going to the fertility doctor and leaving frustrated or confused when they tell you everything appears good; giving yourself overwhelming anxiety that affects your hormones; taking prescription drugs to “force” your eggs to release… stop putting yourself through that. Aren’t you tired? I know I was. Clearly I am over the moon - and all of you deserve it as well. Do it naturally, love your body, balance your body, relax and it WILL happen - follow Proov’s guidance, and you can even call or email them and get a live specialist to help or answer questions (I did). If it takes a month to balance everything, don’t give up, do it again next month and your miracle will arrive. Hang in there, sister. XO

Positive Result 3 Days Post Peak Fertility
I am pleased with the Proov test and elated there is a test available to confirm ovulation. Which help me even more on my TTC journey. Fertility can be overwhelming to say the least, the more I am able to learn about my body the better. I had a very early miscarriage at 5 weeks in 2017. I am currently TTC our rainbow baby. So I started doing research and I learned about progesterone and its role in the early stages of pregnancy. Something I never knew about before! I’ve never had my progesterone tested. My GYN recently gave me a referral to see a RE. But before spending hundreds of dollars on testing; I figured if I could test for ovulation and pregnancy at home, why not progesterone?! I decided to search for an at-home progesterone test and found Proov. Here are my results: Aug 26:CD 8 I took baseline test which was negative Sept 2: CD 15 Peak fertility- Positive LH Surge using OPK Sept 5: CD 18 I was 3 days past peak fertility and began testing to confirm ovulation. I used natural progesterone cream. Sept 6: CD 19 Proov test-Negative; I started having some brown spotting; immediately began to suspect this was due to low progesterone Sept 7: CD 20 Proov Negative; more brown spotting Sept 8: CD 21 Proov test- Negative, very faint pink line visible; however PDG seem to be near rising when compared to baseline test; I continue to have more brown spotting. I use the natural progesterone cream, then discontinue using it because I read in the Q&A section of the Proov instructions that natural progesterone could affect the results. *Sept 9: CD 22 Proov test-Negative, very faint pink line visible on test strip; brown spotting continues; after checking with “Dr. Google” I thought the spotting may be due to implantation or low progesterone *Purchased more of the Proov test because the instructions stated to stop testing when Proov tests turns positive (single line). I really wanted to see if I would in fact get a positive result with a single line. Moreover, I want to gain more knowledge about my reproductive health and my body. Also, I was elated that the tests arrived the very next day with Prime shipping. I am a POAS addict, even a day felt like a week lol. Kudos to Amazon for next day shipping!!👏🏽 Sept 10: CD 23 Proov test- Near positive, PDG appeared to be near rising; scant brown spotting Sept 11: CD 24 Proov test- Positive?? Near Positive?? PDG rising?? The test appeared positive at 5 minutes then a faint pink line started to appear after about 7 minutes, at 15 minutes a second line was clearly visible. I was a bit confused, I thought test remain positive if my PDG was over 5 ug/ml?; also continued to have brown spotting. Sept 12: CD 25 Proov test -Positive?? Near Positive?? PDG rising?? The test appeared faintly positive at 5 minutes then a pink line started to appear after about 7 minutes, at 15 minutes a second line was clearly visible. I continued to have brown spotting which was unusual for me. I’ve experience spotting during previous cycles, but not off and on for nearly a week. So I contact my GYN and she had me come in right away. I had a pelvic exam and turns out I had an endometrial polyp, which I’ve never had before. My GYN removed the polyp and ordered additional testing. Sept 13: CD 26 Proov test- Positive??. Only 1 line. (There was a very, very faint pink line at 15 minutes, however per the instructions, results are not to be read after more than 15 minutes). Decided to test the next day for good measure. Sept 14: CD 27 Proov test- POSITIVE. Single line only. No faint lines. Ovulation confirmed. See picture #1 for positive test result on 9/14 See picture #2 for comparison of the Proov test I took today 9/14 to my baseline test taken on 8/26. See picture #3 for my Proov test progression lines. I wanted to share my experience using the Proov test for the first time. Sometimes I read reviews and expect my results to be the same as others but everyone body is different. Using the Proov test gave me some really valuable info about my body. Highly recommend giving the test a try. *UPDATE 12/1/19 I am currently 3 days post peak fertility. I took a Proov test today and got a positive result! I am so excited to be able to confirm ovulation. I’m scheduled to have blood work done soon. Seeing a positive result just makes me feel so happy. Baby dust to all my mamas on this TTC journey.

This Brand is Trash
I started with buying the PDG strips for my first cycle TTC. I'm 33 and wanted to have all of the information I could get about my fertility. I found the strips hard to read and using the app to take a clear picture was difficult. I ended up getting slightly positive result on days 7, 8, 9 and a negative on day 10 (the most important day). I already questioned these results because I felt like I ALWAYS saw a faint line which meant negative. My day 10 strip looked identical to all of the other days, I have pictures of them - but that one was somehow marked a negative by the app. This filled me with a ton of worry and stress that my progesterone was lacking and that I'd have a hard time keeping a pregnancy. I reached out to Proov support to see if there's any way this was an error? I've always had regular periods, no pre-period spotting, etc. (all of the things they tell you to look for with low progesterone) and she essentially said there is no error and that my progesterone is low and she would recommend supplementation. The next month, I bought a new box of PDG strips, as well as their FSH, LH and pregnancy tests. My FSH came back "Normal" but in the high range for someone my age, which meant my egg count was declining and it could be harder for me to get pregnant. The LH strips never got as dark as the control line (despite the fact that I had clear LH positives on the easy@home brand for 4 cycles in a row like clockwork). I confirmed ovulation with temping so I'm confident I ovulated. Then I did the PDG strips again and my results were even worse than last time. Two positives and two negatives according the the app (one of them on day 10). I'm also confident I saw a faint line on all 4 of them in person, which would make them all negative. Well, imagine my surprise when we successfully got pregnant (and stayed pregnant) on only our 2nd cycle trying. According to all of my poor results on literally all of their tests that cycle, and being 33 years old, this should have been very difficult. To add insult to injury, their "early detection" pregnancy tests were the very last ones to confirm my pregnancy. I'd had clear positives for days on digitals, first response and easy@home. Save your money, this company is trash and they prey on women TTC.

And I experience horrible ovulation pain
UPDATE: July 6dpo: No need to wait till 7dpo my stick went as white as it could at 5dpo and 6dpo just for good measure. My only concern is that after 5minute time frame the purple handled strips start to develop some sort of line. It looks light grey to light pink. And the package says to not to read beyond 15 minutes. So does it need that much time to develop? I do not know. But I am satisfied that it did pick up on my ovulation. I would still recommend and advise to follow the instructions to use fmu. Also, the bottom test is an LH strip taken at the same time to show a comparion. I already ovulated with very dark opks. The one in the pic (light blue is negative). Thank you and many blessings for bfp out there. **UPDATE: July 2019: The product has changed to PROOV little purple test strips. Not the same quality as before. I used one test with saved old fmu(top) and the other(bottom) with a 3 hour hold fresh urine(late afternoon). The old fmu was lighter than the fresh sample. Granted I am only 3dpo and expected some type of line. I will reupdate at 7dpo to show what the tests look like. I am not on any fertility drugs and diagnosed with unexplained infertility. I have posted a pic. Babydust Update May 2018: I figured out what time a day to take test and wullah. The test goes blank at peek progesterone level. It does work effectively enough to show some type of ovulation. Update: I am updating my post after receiving clarification on my tests I took. I will be using them again next cycle to see what negative results look like. Mine for this cycle (except the ones with a dye run) were positive. ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Completely disappointing. I took tests fmu 6dpo fmu, 7dpo fmu and 7dpo smu. I had to wait 8 hours for my tests to get in but used it with fmu 6dpo. It came out with a very faint line that dried darker. I was troubled because I know I ovulated. I track it with temps and opks. And I experience horrible ovulation pain. So I test with fmu 7dpo the next day and the the test was blank at 5 minutes. It then immediately started turning into a dye run. I couldn't believe it. The instructions say not to read past 10min but there was nothing to read past 5. So I do it again with the same urine and this time I get a super faint line showing up almost immediately. Then at the 5 min mark its barely there at all. And you guessed it, drys with a dye run. At this point I'm furious. I really expected to see nothing at all. So, I wait for the fmu to go cold so I can test like I did the first time on old fmu. I test it and right away a test line starts forming. Its a fat pink line but faint. And no dye run. I could cry. I'm so confused. I decide to use another test because at this point I realize I've wasted my money anyway. Its 7dpo smu and the test line shows up faintly but there. It does not dry with a dye run. But it has a line going through it that is whitish but the top and bottom of the test line are visible. End state...my head hurts. I'm attaching the pic of the tests. I have no idea if I ovulated with a decent number or not. Because any line means a poor ovulation. I'm tempted to waste another 40 dollars for a real blood test today. Top two tests 6dpo and 7dpo cold fmu Middle two tests both warm fmu 7dpo Last test smu 7dpo (no hold) (the camera has a hard time picking up the test lines that are there)

Proov-ing It Works: A Must-Have for Fertility Tracking!
I’ve used Proov Confirm several times to track ovulation and hormone levels after experiencing recurring pregnancy loss, and it has been an invaluable tool in my fertility journey. The test strips are easy to use, provide clear results, and give me the reassurance I need about my hormone levels. I’ve also used several other Proov products, including their pregnancy tests, Proov Reserve, and the Balancing Oil, and I’ve been completely satisfied with each one. The quality is excellent, and the information they provide has helped me feel more in control of my fertility. Beyond the products themselves, Proov offers amazing customer support. Anytime I’ve had a question, their team has been responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. I highly recommend Proov to anyone trying to conceive or looking for insight into their hormonal health. Their products have truly made a difference for me!

Currently Pregnant despite Negative Proov results
UPDATE: This test is not accurate and I would avoid it if you are having trouble conceiving- it will just cause confusion and unnecessary anxiety. I waited to update my review until after my first ultrasound, confirming my pregnancy/fetal heartbeat. For two weeks I’ve been scared to death that I was experiencing a chemical pregnancy or worse, an ectopic pregnancy because I had previously tested with Proov days 7-10 post ovulation and got negative results all 4 days! According to the Proov test results my progesterone was too low to have successfully ovulated and after getting positive pregnancy tests, I bought more boxes of Proov test strips and continued to monitor PDG to see if it was increasing. It did increase slightly and that gave me some relief but since this is not what the test is designed for, I really did not know what the results should be at this early stage of pregnancy. I was concerned the lower levels of progesterone could be the result of an ectopic pregnancy! The ultrasound confirmed this is not the case. At this point I regret having ever used Proov- unfortunately I do not recommend this product at all. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’m so confused by the results of this test, please let me explain. I have been trying to conceive for 7 months and I came across Proov in an Instagram ad. I decided to try it because while I was getting positive Lh surges when taking ovulation tests, I was failing to get pregnant. The results of the first month testing PDG with Proov were negative all 4 days, and they were quite low (1.8 avg.) I was very concerned and brought these results to my doctor. He had never heard of Proov but was very interested and agreed that measuring PDG in urine is more accurate than a blood test. Nonetheless, we planned for bloodwork following my next cycle that would also coincide with testing at home with Proov. The next cycle came, I used ovulation tests at home, timed intercourse, 7 days later tested with Proov, then went in to the lab for blood work the same day. My Proov results this cycle were higher than the previous cycle but still too low to indicate successful ovulation, (3.0 avg) Bummer. Then I waited for my period thinking we would try again in a couple weeks. Period didn’t come! Took a pregnancy test... it was positive?! Well that’s weird because the Proov test said I didn’t ovulate successfully. Now I’m on pins and needles thinking I am having a chemical pregnancy- I’m worried there’s no way it’s going to “stick” since my progesterone is too low, or is it?? I call the doctor’s office impatiently asking for the results of my blood work and I inform them of the latest news. To my surprise and confusion, the results are good. My blood work indicated high enough levels of progesterone and that I had successfully ovulated, and I’m still pregnant but still on pins and needles!! I honestly don’t know how I feel right now. I’m definitely not letting myself get excited about the pregnancy yet. I actually ran to Target to quickly buy another box of Proov test strips and I have been testing every morning since I got the positive pregnancy test and my numbers keep rising but they are still below 5. I don’t even know how high the progesterone should be at this stage of pregnancy. The bottom line is- I don’t know if this test is giving me real, valid results or if it is causing me unnecessary anxiety about a chemical pregnancy or worse, future miscarriage. Everything that I know is true would validate the later- I’m currently pregnant despite Proov saying that I didn’t ovulate. And sadly, I’m still very worried and not excited at all about finally getting a big fat positive! I will update this review as things progress either way in the hopes that these details help someone else.

Helped Me Identify A Problem. Fingers crossed the Progesterone works🤞🏻.
After my second miscarriage in November 2020, I became obsessed with tracking my menstrual cycles trying to conceive again (won’t lie I still am). For the past two years since having my 3rd daughter in 2017 my cycles slowly changed from every 29-30 days to now every 24-26 days. After paying attention to my ovulation strips, I noticed my luteal phase was 10-11 days. As I was getting a positive OPK CD 14 (meaning around CD 15 or 16 I was ovulating). Then starting my period not too long after. Always starting with brown spotting the first day. When I conceived in October 2020, I was taking a variety of supplements from B6-B12 to evening primrose oil, fish oil, prenatal, vitamin E, potassium, etc. I stopped all supplements except a prenatal once I found out I conceived that cycle. Then at about 7 weeks the brown spotting began, and it felt just like every month where it starts of with brown that turns into red. During my follow-up miscarriage appointment I made it a point to tell the doctor that I believed after researching on Dr. Google that I had a luteal phase defect. She told me that it was just bad luck to have another miscarriage & that it’s common as you grow older; as many pregnancies result in miscarriage. I just turned 29 in March 2021. I argued that my first two daughters were conceived at 16 & 18. My body was much different now as a woman. At 25 I had an early miscarriage then 3 months later conceived my 3rd daughter. Now a few years later I’ve miscarried again, only this time my periods have become more frequent leading to shorter cycles. The doctor told me at that follow up appointment that she would wait until I got a positive test to prescribe progesterone. & it wasn’t because she thought something was really wrong, it was only to appease me since I wouldn’t let up on it. 3 months into trying after my miscarriage and cycles continuing to range from 24-26 days, I decided to get a second opinion. This time I found PROOV, I was going to prove to my next doctor that something WAS wrong. PROOV showed me that I WAS ovulating but like the creator of PROOV, my progesterone would rise & give a positive PROOV test for 2 days and then negative the following 3 days for 10DPO, then the brown spotting would begin and then the finally the next day my period. I brought this up to my new doctor & he ran a multitude of tests. HSG (tube test), ultrasound, & blood/blood clot tests, and finally the day 21 progesterone test. On day 21 my progesterone was a 12.3. This made sense because I know I am ovulating and my PROOV test was positive the previous cycle on 7DPO. When every test came back normal my doctor said it was good that they found nothing wrong. We could try clomid. Scared to try clomid, and after reading up a LOT on progesterone and the PROOV creators personal story, I asked to try progesterone suppositories for a few months (2-3) before moving to clomid. Without hesitation the doctor said yeah, you are on the shorter side of a luteal phase. Can’t hurt. You can try it, that’s fine. Then we can move to clomid if it doesn’t work. I’m now on month 5 of trying to conceive. I know that’s not as long as a lot of women... But after two early miscarriages. I just want to do everything I can, even though I know I don’t have control. I’m hoping my story is as happy as the PROOV creator. Where I can conceive with progesterone suppositories & carry one last baby to term with no brown spotting, no miscarriage, and just a healthy baby. This will be my first month trying with progesterone. I will be sure to update if it works! If it does and the luteal phase defect/progesterone not staying elevated long enough was my problem I will be sure to let everyone know that this product was PROOV that I really did have a progesterone issue & that doctors need to start listening to women rather than blowing them off.

They work!!
Really easy to use, for the past year I’ve had shorter cycles from 21-25 days and about a 9/10 day Luteal phase and one miscarriage. I decided to check my progesterone as I’ve had blood test half way between after ovulating/before period was due but it’s harder with a short cycle, progesterone level was fine in this but issue has been it’s not been high enough for long enough basically so strips are great to track how long progesterone actually stays high for to allow for implantation. I’ve had a positive test now which is great! I’m still monitoring progesterone just to check it remains high. I’d highly recommend theses, GP has no way to track progesterone apart from a one off test but if done at the wrong time in the cycle it’s pretty pointless and also doesn’t show how long progesterone is raised for which is a equally important. :D
