Zamfir: Greatest Hits

MY DAD IS 86 YRS OLD AND VERY HARD OF HEARING. EVERY MORNING WHEN HE TAKES A RIDE IN IN THE COUNTRY HE LITERALLY BLASTS THIS CD IN HIS CAR. IT IS SUCH SOOTHING MUSIC FOR HIM. SINCE I LIVE NEXT DOOR TO HIM, I CAN HEAR THE CD'S VERY CLEARLY SINCE HE HAS IT TURNED UP SO LOUD. I WILL BE PURCHASING ONE OF ZAMFIR'S CD'S FOR MYSELF. THE MUSIC IS HEALING IN THE MIDST OF A BUSY LIFE.

Love a pan flute!! CD was all I hoped it would be !!! It's the most relaxing music to listen to while driving, baking or whatever I'm doing. My favorite song was Unchained Melody. Mz. JuJu from Nevada !!

I love this DVD, such beautiful music! it was received promptly and in good condition.

I received this as a Christmas gift and I as never so disappointed. It may be the greatest hits in Spain, but there was nothing on it I could recognized. One piece sounded like it was a training audio for people who wanted to learn to play the pan flute. I thought I was buying something with melodies that I knew. It was awful.

PERFECTION IN THE MASTERY.

This is perhaps one of the best CD's showcasing Gheorghe Zamfir's amazing talent on the pan flute! Ethereal & soul-touching! Amazing sound that will certainly soothe one's soul, if not give it some comfort! While Romanian fans tend to stress his nationality - it's Zamfir's beautiful music & artistry that the entire world can claim as its own!

Zamfir' s flute transports you to a stress free zone. I listen to it just before falling asleep. The sounds of the flute help me quiet down the mind.

I had researched panpipes music and was looking for quiet peaceful music. I was unable to hear the samples of this CD. I was also unaware that all of the music choices were foreign and was not familiar with any of them. The upbeat and fast tempo was the last thing I wanted to buy. I will continue to look for panpipe music that is soothing and calming. I had heard Amazing Grace and was so impressed with it and was expecting this kind of music. Sorry that I cannot give this a good rating.

Have been a follower of Georges Zamphir for some years now and thoroughly enjoyed this cd. I would rate this as one of his best cds ever. Have seen him live in concert - it was so nice to be able to sit back and close my eyes and envision his on the stage praying his music on the pam flute. Fantastic collection of music.

Arrived with a cracked case but cd perfect.
