Best light on the market
Just finished diving in Cozumel with this Suptig light attached to a Gopro 9 camera. Everyone in Cozumel wants one of these lights now. It lights up a wide area rather than the spot light effect that normal hand held lights have. I attached a night dive video using this light. The light has three power settings and the attached video was done with the medium light setting. As you can see, the light illuminated the area around the octopus for a much nicer video. The light performed flawlessly down to 80 feet with no leakage in the case. After the 45 minute night dive the light still indicated full charge on medium power. I also did a ship wreck dive and again, after the light was on for 45 minutes it still indicated full charge using medium light setting. I can't say enough positive things about this light. There are two contacts on the outside of the case that allow the light to be charged so just be sure to soak the light in a sink full of fresh water when you are done diving in salt water and wipe the contacts clean. The actual video is very clear but I hope you'll get an idea about how good the light is.

Don't Buy: The Best Sub-$40 Dive Video Light With Severe Quality Control Issues
Final review After 17 Dives: It Died after charging it overnight. It turned itself off (as it would at random and then turn itself back on) and simply would not turn on regardless. Note that I Never went any deeper than their advertised depth limit and I never abused the light. If you choose to buy this brand, I highly suggest that you cycle the light on and off several times to make sure that it doesn't fail while you can still return it for free in case it fails. Definitely seal it after the free return has expired and Before your first dive! And keep your fingers crossed! Avoid the Brand until they fix their Quality Control Issues.... Sadness Review After 14 Dives: Please also read my original review, below. Everything started really great and hopeful: Having read the horror tales about flooding on the first dive, I found and purchased a semi-permanent waterproof silicon seal that I then used around the lip of the light, where the front clear plastic is attached to the black back housing. It seems to have worked 99%, as I still see a bit of fogging when exposed to cold water at depth - which scares me! All was well until in the middle of the 5th dive (day 3, 1st dive) the light wouldn't turn off! No matter how many times I pressed the button, how long I held it, etc. it simply would not change modes or turn off. So I decided to stop pressing it out of the fear that if I press too hard I might break the seal behind the button and flood the light, making a bad situation worse. I also counted my lucky stars that I knew that the light lasted 2.5 hours (~1.5 dives: 1 hour dive + 1 hour surface time + 1/2 second dive) so that I'd at least have the light at the beginning of the second dive, and that we were only doing one dive a day. I also knew that the light recharged quickly, but I didn't know how long it took to recharge if it was On the Entire Time! So, I now charge over night making sure that the light is well vented (as it gets quite hot with the light on while charging). I am a bit concerned about the battery catching on fire. I am considering partially submerging it in water (coffee cup?) to help cool it off without getting the electric connections wet, but that is hard to arrange when you are moving from one hotel room to another and diving in Indonesia! Fortunately, the light Does fully recharge overnight. It also sometime switches from mode to mode while recharging all on its own lonesome! What is more, on the 11th dive, I found out that I can - sometimes - even turn it off. Though it sometimes also turns itself back-on! I am months from returning to the US where I'd have been able to send the light back as defective. Of course, given that I've placed the seal, I seriously doubt that they'd give me my money back.... At this point I am not sure that I'd trust ANY Scuptig light to take with me on a long overseas trip. At least if you are diving in the US and buy it right before your dive, you'd be able to return a defective light. But..... Moral of the story: 1. Great Concept 2. Horrible Quality Control / parts / manufacturing 3. Buy 2 at such a great price or buy this and a similar one from Neewer? (given the Scuptig quality control issues) or just buy the Neewer and forget about All Scuptig lights (sadness) ----------- Original Review Before Diving (gave 5 stars!) I purchased four (4) different lights to compare and keep the best (I am retired and have the time, but travel most of the year so I don't have time, space, etc to carry / replace a poor light, ~1 year at a time!). My wife and I dive as often as we can and I take pictures and videos using my (out of production) Nikon Coolpix w300. It's built-in flash is great for macro but.... And my previous sub $40 light just died. I compared 4 sub-$40 dive lights and "Suptig 30 LED Video Light Waterproof Light Underwater Light" won (for my purposes) after a day-long competition! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B8TN4F4 The competitors were: Suptig Video Lighting Dive Light Underwater Lights 72 Led Lights https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z1TYVTZ Suptig Diving Light High Power Dimmable Waterproof LED Video Light Fill Night Light Diving Underwater Light Waterproof 147ft https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BCC4VQW Neewer Waterproof Up to 131ft/40m Underwater 20 LED 700LM Flash Dimmable Fill Night Light with 3 Color Filter(White, Orange, Purple) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KO0SSH2 How I tested: 1. I fully charged all four 2. I turned-on all four at full power at the same time and ran a timer 3. Suptig 30 LED Video Light lasted 2:22 before it suddenly cut-off (awesome) 4. Suptig Video Lighting Dive Light Underwater Lights 72 Led Lights lasted over 3 hours, but was not as bright (granted, it's beam was much wider, but that is not always a positive for most of my shots) 5. Rest of the lights were severely fading by 1:30 mark! 6. Suptig Video Lighting Dive Light Underwater Lights 72 Led Lights took 3:30 - 4:00 hours to fully charge (I couldn't tell how much it had charged as it only had a singly light for charging) 7. Suptig 30 LED Video Light charged as follows: 50% - 20 min, 75% - 30 min, 100% - 3:15! (at least according to it's back lights - still need to check that out over the next few days, as I have time) 8. Suptig 30 LED Video Light was the only one that was fully sealed. They should all go to that. Granted, "Suptig Diving Light High Power Dimmable Waterproof LED Video Light Fill Night Light Diving Underwater Light" gives you the ability to swap-out the Gopro compatible battery (Awesome) and I never had a problem w/ a similar waterproof mechanism on my old light and it also throws a pretty powerful beam. But if you are doing back-to-back dives (1 hour surface time), you'll need a maximum of 4-5 batteries (4-5 dives/day). An option (OK - if you turn-on the light only when you are taking a picture, it should last over multiple dives). Note that, except the first two (my choice and the 72 light), all other lights' outputs faded with the fading battery power - something I dislike. Again, I highly recommend "Suptig 30 LED Video Light Waterproof Light Underwater Light" for diving photography. Keep in mind that it is not a $300-$600 light, so it's beam is not as powerful. I hope that I don't experience any of the flooding issues that some other folks seem to have experienced. I am going to look into possible ways of waterproofing the outside seal that would not void the warranty or otherwise damage the device (unlike superglue, for example!). Good luck!

Perfect for my job. Tough to find a more dependable light. Long battery life.

Great light for the price
Took it down to 65ft on a couple dives and didn't have any issues. It's decently bright when you test it out inside, but outside, underwater, it's not as impressive. Either way, it's still a great addition to an amateur underwater photography rig.

This thing is great
Used this for a food review i did and it worked out amazing. It has 3 settings, a low, high, and a strobe and gave me more than enough light for what i needed.

Good light
I bought for dive photography and they work well for that purpose. That being said they are useful for much more and I find myself using them whenever extra light is needed. The mounts make them super useful just about anywhere. They have good battery life and bright light. Great value.

Worked Well Until it Stopped Working
I used this light for underwater, photography, and videos. Unfortunately, it just stopped working. It was great while it worked.

Good light
We are very amateur GoPro users, but found this light easy to use. We had it on a recent dive holiday, and the battery lasted for the whole week. It really added to our underwater photos and video without using a filter. The only downside (but not enough to knock the rating) is that the charger plug is different, so you have to make sure to bring it along!

Eficiente
A Luminária subaquática veio bem embalada e tem duração de 2,5 horas acesa no modo mais forte (3). Não entrou água durante o mergulho. Ótima aquisição!

Be AWARE WORTHLESS Product!! LEAKING after first time under water! NOT worth even 1 star
Bought this small light especially for the GoPro and diving. I fully charged it before my first dive. In de room when it was dark I tried the light. 100% brightness and lower brightness and the SOS signal. All seems to be working good. At start on the first dive in Bonaire at 2 meter it starts softly flashing (NOT the SOS) by itselfs. Whatever button I push and how long it does not matter. I could not turn the light on or off or in SOS. I went up. Did not manage to switch it off. According to my dive-computer, we did no go deeper as 6meter 70 cm the first dive. All the dive this Suptig 30 leds light was sofly glowing leds on and off. Returned at the room and notice that the light smell bad. You saw it was cloudy inside the light. After a few hours the light turned brown inside (see picture). Not only I paid around 30 USD/ 30 Euro for a totally worthless product. It also negatively affected my mood on the first day(s) of the dive-vacation. And during this trip I was not able make video's in the darker spots of the reef. Be aware and STAY far away from this so called dive-light. They say they have 2 years Guarantee. Hope to get the money back. Unfortunately, Amazon's 30 day return policy has expired One star is even too much !!
