Great bit of equipment
This is a great bit of equipment, I bought the version with the pulley assist for kids and wife to help them get to a pull up. The construction is solid heavy duty steel and thick screws. When assembled there is a bit of give here and there but nothing that would cause any concerns whatsoever. Build time took 2 hours with the tools provided. All the nuts and bolts were in neat separated packaging, so nothing to loose in the build mess. The instructions were fine to follow, the only tricky bit was getting head around the pulley system but it's self explanatory once you see the bits. The features are everything you need for a body weight session, pull up, dips, leg raises and a push up bar at the bottom. Full body work out without the need for weights. Swapping the seat from assist mode to leg raises position takes about 1 min so no bother at all. Changing the level of pulley assist is a little bit fiddly but really easy. There are 4 levels of assist. The extendable pull up bar is great for adapting to allow kids to have a go. Changing the position involves unscrewing the bolts and repositioning, then rescrewing which is slightly frustrating (2-3 mins) but it's a nick pick. Overall, really happy with it and would highly recommend if you want to improve your body weight training regime to become functionally fitter rather than just muscular.

Surprisingly good.
Pleasantly suprised. Some components were scratched upon receipt. If this was going in a garage/conservatory I would ask for replacement parts due to likelihood of rust occurring but it’s going in a spare bedroom so I’m not overly worried. It all fitted together well with instructions almost correct, few details missing that would have helped but nothing insurmountable. Quality of components is decent for the price even the nuts & bolts are acceptable. Once built the tower is certainly substantial enough for my 85kg body. The assist platform is not the smoothest but it does work. You can do assisted pull-ups, chin ups AND assisted dips though for the dips I stand on the assist platform and use bent legs to get the range of motion I want where for the pull exercised knees-on-platform may be the best option. Overall can recommend the Sportsroyal assisted power tower.

The package came a bit damaged, but nothing would really hurt the content, so it did not matter. A couple of pieces were scratched slightly, felt like something has been assembled before. The bolts and other paraphernalia is packaged into a thick plastic form that will require some serious scissors. Honestly, taking all pieces out took most effort. Metal pieces are all hollow inside, so they clank quite loudly. Main complaint (which has already been pointed out here, so I was prepared) is that steel is not 2 mm thick. I did not have the right tool, but it was obvious. Somewhere around 1.6 mm is what it really is. As a result, it is less sturdy than advertised, but still enough for most exercises around for 70 kg body weight. My primary goal was to get a stable pull up bar that would not fall off or break through wooden frame of the door, and it looks like this one works just fine. Dips and leg raises are a bonus, but I wouldn't put more weight on. Push-up handles are an extra, but not sure why you would need them. They are only connected to the base on one side, which scares me a little - if it breaks under load, bye-bye fingers. It was a bit tricky to attach handles with armrests, the holes do not align that well, plus there is some movement under load. Not sure if it is by design, I don't like too much movement in the joints where the bolts are involved, but it seems to hold so far. Overall happy, the price is justified if you take into account multi-functionality. I understand that higher quality would raise the price quite a bit. Delivery process was a bit mysterious, before ordering it was promised in less than 2 weeks, then the estimated date was much longer, and item was never in the transit. Suddenly it came on the date originally promised. Pros: - Wide and stable base, no risk of tipping over - Does not bend or swing too much at 75 kg - Armrest angle is a nice touch - Backrest is big enough - Easy to assemble by one person Cons: - Thin steel, whole frame starts moving quite a bit over 80 kg - Some unwanted movement in the armrest handles (bolt holes do not align well) - The horizontal bar in the bottom is getting in a way sometimes, would prefer having it a bit higher. - Location and material of pads on the pull-up bar are questionable. I wouldn't mind having all of it padded, or none.

Easy to assemble once you get a hang of it. Have a ratchet wrench handy (a must). There are lots of nuts and bolts. Also have a heavy duty scissors to cut through the hardware packaging. It is very sturdy. Versatile. Small footprint. I also bought the protective floor covering automatically recommended by Amazon at checkout.

I'm 6'6" and weigh about 210 pounds and this rack holds me just fine. It flexes a bit, but it's not bending or getting out of shape. Really great piece of equipment.
