Will this fit the new canon r10?

Sorry for the delay This unit is a direct replacement for the LPE17 battery for Canon and the R10 does in fact use them. This will work for you. I use my kit regularly and have never had an issue with it.

What is the power supply capacity?

8v 3a 24w output. But this is not for holding a charge. It supplies power only while plugged into an outlet. Hope this helps.

Can't close door on SL3 so it will work. Any suggestions?

There is a rubber cover on the door of the battery compartment, and opening the rubber cover allows dummy battery wires to pass through.
