UPDATE 11/8 Review Changed...(Original review:Buyers beware, NOT OEM)
Update on 11/8: I did some further research after posting my review on the website. I looked up the filter specifically and cross referenced the numbers with the original AC Delco product and what I found that what I received is the new part. The packaging has changed as well as the filter construction. AC Delco has changed the inside of the filter to a nylon material and gone away from the metal once inside. However, the new filter still doesn't fit the filter wrench I bought when I began changing my own oil on my '21 GMC Sierra with the 3.0 Duramax. I guess I'll just need to by another tool...oh darn. Just wanted to come clean and ensure to give credit where credit is due. Since the oil change I have had no issues with leaking or a decrease in performance. (ORIGINAL review): The filter that was sent to me was definitely not OEM. The first thing that clued me in was that my filter wrench for removing the original OEM ACDELCO PF66 was too large for the filter that was sent to me. Secondly the inside material was made of plastic and looked nothing like the inside of the OEM filter I removed. Unfortunately I did not have another filter to place on my truck after I drained the oil so I’m stuck with it on my truck for now. Lastly the box the filter came in had many different languages on it see the photo. I’m going to purchase a new filter from a reputable dealer and replace the piece of crap that was sent to me as soon as possible. I sure hope the oil is of OEM quality and it doesn’t damage my engine!
