Owon HDS1022M-N 2 in 1 DSO Handheld Digital Storage Oscilloscope+Multimeter

First off, I have been a tech for a long time. I own quite a bit of test equipment. A lot of people think if it's not dual trace and 100 MHz it is useless. But I can count on the fingers of one hand the times I really REALLY needed a dual trace scope faster than this one. When I do I use my bench scope, but this is my goto scope for almost everything. The screen is larger and brighter than most which makes it easier to use, and the functions are quite intuitive, battery life is very good. The measurement functions are easy to use and it has all the ones it needs to be useful. Its also very handy to have a scope that is not mains powered so I can measure things that are. I had been teaching a free community electronics course and there was a teenager who reminded me of myself when I was his age, so this is actually my 2nd one and the other one is going to him. A real winner. I really like this scope a lot plus the price is right.

Nice VOM meter with easy to read display, even when using outdoors. Has basic oscilloscope (single channel) functionality. Haven't used that part yet, but will eventually. Only real complaint is that the case shipped with the meter isn't big enough to contain all of the probes.

Works very good for what I am using it for as a test instrument on job sites. Affordable and easy to read.

The unit has a few features that are hard to use, but it is a very useful tool.

Very large display. High capture rate and decent buffer.

Works just fine for me just right for automotive.
