Several years after the events of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, Alice finds herself back in Wonderland and called upon to save the world of playing cards and talking animals from the increasingly deranged Queen of Hearts. But all is not as it first appears in the fluctuating dream world and soon Alice is battling to save herself from the nightmare that is rapidly overtaking the realm. Have you ever wondered what would have happened if Alice hadn't drunk from the bottle labelled 'Drink Me', or if she hadn't joined the Hatter, the March Hare, and the Dormouse for tea? Well now you can find out - and take part. In Alice's Nightmare in Wonderland Colouring Book - a companion to Jonathan Green's new Choosable Path Adventure Book - YOU decide how the amazing creatures Alice encounter should appear. Because this is your chance to team up as the colourist for illustrator Kev Crossley of 2000AD, KISS 4K and Warhammer 40K fame. Are you ready to join Jonathan Green and Kev Crossley and go back down the rabbit-hole? Review: Great coloring book for those of you who don’t like to shade! - First, I am an ‘adult colorer’ that, until recently, haven’t had much experience coloring since grade school and with just crayola crayons/markers. Second, the paper is quite thin. I wouldn’t suggest using markers or watercolors if you plan to color both sides of each page. I have been using Prismacolor colored pencils. This isn’t a coloring book for everyone. I, very much, enjoyed the darker aspects of the artwork and small storyline. I’m a novice when it comes to understanding light sources and shading so having the guess work taken out for me was great! This allowed me to have depth in my coloring that I am not able to have regularly. There were some areas that were harder to color due to the pre-filled shading but that’s not a deal breaker for me. Overall, I have really enjoyed coloring this book. Review: Fun - Not for children

Love these nightmarish illustrations!
The pages are a bit thin & the illustrations a bit dark- but -I am having no problems with either! I put a piece of cardboard underneath the page I'm coloring so there are no pressure marks. I'm using pencils, so there's no bleed through. As for the darkness of the illustrations, this is a nightmare story, so it'd be weird if it was light & bright. I've only colored a few so far, but you be the judge. Personally I think they're coming out great!

Great illustrations, but black blocks some color.
Great as a coloring book. This is not complete story, but contains brief quotes on one page opposite an illustration. The one disappointment is that the illustrations are drawn as complete pencil drawings. Thus, the blood is shaded black. Coloring it red would require a paint pen or something with opaque ink. Crayon, marker, etc. doesn't make black red. Overall, though- very pleased with the book.

It's ok.
The art is really cool and the concept is fun too but there's a few flaws. I'm fine with all the shading. To me, the extra shading makes the pages more interesting and actually easier and faster to finish because I don't have to spend time creating shadows like I do with most other coloring books. But! The paper is way too thin. I doubt I would trust using markers on these pages, they would probably soak the paper too much and cause damage and it'll definitely bleed through. The story within the book doesn't really make sense. It feels like there should have been double the pages that never made it. One page of the story doesn't really align with the next. It's odd. Also I was expecting a lot more pages with Alice. There's really only a couple. There's actually not many pages in this book for what you pay for. Most coloring books come with 3x the pages for the same price but I really loved the concept. So between the poor storyline, the thinness of the paper, the lack of total pages and Alice missing through most of it, I can't give it the greatest review. So I'm giving it an "ok" review with an "ok" amount of stars.

Unique and enjoyable
I saw a lot of complaints about the quality and sketchiness of the pictures but I decided to try anyway, I love the idea of a horror styled coloring book. It's very unique! The shading of the pictures really adds depth to the finished picture, and the story style is fun. I'm very happy with it, though I do wish there was more pages to color, and perhaps a bit thicker paper. I did my first coloring with marker, but I think colored pencil (soft cored) might work out a bit better. There was quite a bit of bleed through with marker... again due to the thin paper. All in all, I would suggest this book to anyone looking for a different and unique coloring experience, I love it!

Fantastic Art
The quality of the art is beyond what is usually available in adult coloring books. Really great stuff. Very well laid out / designed for coloring. This is a quality book, tightly and squarely glued with a light/medium card stock cover. The paper is book quality. Speaking of book quality, this book tells a story, there is a solid narrative (in a coloring book, I know). OK so the best part the art is really really creepy. This is a horrific coloring book, demented and decayed, with a wif of steampunk gothic. But there is some really nice horror illustration. Love this book, coloring book.

Alice in Dissapointmentland
I'm very disappointed in this book. Not a coloring book at all. I guess if you want to add accent colors, fine. This is more of a black and white sketch book with very little coloring space. Sure, the pages are cool and the illustrations are very detailed, but not really color worrhy. If I had seen some of the pages in the description I never would have purchase this book. Totally bummed.

Grey shaded story book
Odd colouring book as most pages are shades of grey. I did read this in other reviews, but it was a request fir Christmas. So i ordered it. Looks like more of a story book then a colouring book.

its the paper that lets this amazing book down
The designs are superb, its the paper that lets this amazing book down. Its thinner than my photo copier paper and ruins a damn fine colouring book. Sad to think great designers and illustrators have their work displayed so shabbily.
