The tracks are difficult to put together and the metal connectors are flimsy. The joker car doesn't work well at all. The only good ish thing is the batman car goes very fast. I wouldn't recommend as for nearly £50 I would expect both cars to work fully.

Brilliant fun. My 6 year old loved it at Christmas. Then the family including a 9, 12, 14 year old came round and also loved it. Then the dog loved it! Then the adults took over - and loved it. Track building is tricky so the grown ups did it but once it’s built it’s easy to use. So many different tracks to be built too. Great product.

Don't waste your money, the track look good but it dose not work properly. When you add the loop it loses power the cars do not go around. We set it up with out the loop and it would work fine then all of a sudden the cars would stop working like it loses power. I brought two new car just incase it was them and I was not.

This was a christmas present for my 4 (going on 5) year old nephew. His dad used to have a large scalextric when he was younger so he was dying for his son to get one. He alreadly had a full set off brio and was mastering hot wheels so the time had come for Scalextric. He's also starting to be aware of Superheroes and currently loves Marvel and Batman. This set came well packaged and was easy to set up. The set came with a few track set-up options. At first he just wanted to put his finger down, but the car kept coming off the track so he quickly learnt how to control it so that didn't happen. The only thing I would say is that the Joker car seemed to come off the most, but I'm not sure if this is a fault as I don't know much about the workings of Scalextric.

Not the quality expected for the price, one of the cars stopped working almost straight away. Returned the item.

The box was opened, there is a lot of dust inside - this means that this toy was unpacked on the shelf in the store. The joysticks were in a torn package, and their work is also not satisfactory, because the machine stops constantly at high speed. Another big drawback is that the batteries discharge very quickly. To be honest, I am not at all satisfied with the toy.

What you need to know about slot cars. Forget the body style for a moment. A car is just a motor, gears, and braid that transfers power from track to motor. Not all motors perform the same. Some are faster than others. The braid MUST be cleaned every several minutes of play or it WILL slow and stop. That's ok, and not a big deal for parents or bigger kids, the 4 - 8 yo kids don't get that fact. This set came with 4 xtra braids. Additional braids can be purchased and are very cheap. New cars are expensive. Additional track is expensive. Don't get all wide eyed on the phenomenal picure included in the box of the expansion possibilities. This set has 9 possible layouts so be happy with that (FYI...Two B tracks = one C track). Use a tweezer to gently squeeze the two small insert tabs to almost touching BEFORE first assembly of the track. Some came misshaped out of the box. This will aid assembly. Do a quick check before alternate layouts. Brush, blow or vacuum the slots often, and did i say clean the braids.

The Batman car doesn’t work. Terrible to witness on Christmas Day for a 4 year old ..
