Convenient and good-looking
Nice color and construction. Great for holding/hiding TV remotes on the coffee table!

These are soooo gorgeous.
I've had Steinlen in one form or another since my first apartment. One reviewer said that the image was too dusty yellow. I had a chance to buy one of the original posters and, trust me, it was a lot darker and yellower! I would recommend this type of storage box to anyone. They hold all my desk junky bits and, since they stand on end, they take up a lot less room. I have this and the peacock.

Looks like a leather bound book at first glance
I am using a section of my living room as an office but I don't want it to look like an office so I am camouflaging items to fit with the old, comfy, bookish room. This book box is great for storing items rather than cluttering up the space.

Covers applied crookedly
These are very pretty. Been wanting some book boxes for years and when I saw Le Chat Noir I couldn’t resist. They seem quite solid and sturdy. My gripe is that the faux leather backing on both boxes was applied crookedly, which is all the more noticeable due to the precise pattern of the cover. As long as they’re in a bookcase this is not too visible, but when looking at them from the front, and much worse, the back, they’re definitely crooked.

They arrived packaged nicely. Just as described. They look very nice. I gave them as a gift to little kids for hiding their treasures. I did not care whether I chose this book box or another style, as they all do the same thing. The kids liked cats, so this worked fine.

Sturdy, good-looking
The pair look good. The size difference between the two (the smaller fits completely inside the larger) is a little awkward when they're side-by-side, but putting one in a separate location from the other makes that irrelevant. Appreciate that these are not made by destroying real books.

I love the colors! It’s not yellow it’s a yellow orange. Both have a nice amount of storage and they look great like they are another book
