Good Replacement Outlet
I replaced an older gfi leviton outlet that didn't reset. This replacement was easy to install and works fine. NOTES: 1. Make sure you shut off the correct breaker before replacing an old gfi outlet and installing this gfi outlet. This may be a 'duh' but needs mentioning. MAKE SURE THERE IS NO CURRENT GOING TO THE WIRES BEFORE WORKING ON THE OUTLET. 2. The LINE and LOAD on this new gfi outlet were swapped from top to bottom compared to the old leviton gfi outlet that I had. So make sure you are connecting the correct wires to LINE and LOAD, especially if replacing an older gfi or even a gfi from another brand. 3. This gfi outlet comes tripped from the factory. This means the led will be red after installing and turning the breaker on. After I pressed the RESET button on the gfi outlet the led turned green.

Tamper-resistant, 20-amp, GFCI, meets code requirements and all 6 I bought work fine.
In a nutshell: I bought and installed 6 of these and each of them worked correctly. So for that, 5 stars. The price I paid on Amazon was the same as that of the local big-box home improvement stores except that none of them had it in stock and it would've taken two weeks to get it if I ordered online from them, whereas Amazon got it to me in two days. Why did I buy these rather than 15-amp GFCIs? I chose to run only 20-amp circuits using 12-ga wire when finishing my basement. I know that I could put 15-amp receptacles throughout the basement as I may never need to plug anything in that needs a 20-amp receptacle, but I figured why not use 20-amp outlets everywhere since I'm DIYing the entire project and saving a ton of money as it is. These don't cost much more than a 15-amp GFCI, and call me vain but I think use of 20-amp receptacles is a small signal to others that the workmanship that went into the basement was good. Also, these are tamper-resistant, which is required by the inspectors in my county. Yes, I went through the pain of paying $700 for permits for my project and am doing this all on the up-and-up. Most of the receptacles I bought for my project are non-GFCI 20-amp, though I used a combo AFCI/GFCI receptacle in the basement bedroom for added safety though it's not required by the inspector at present. I would rather pay a little more for the protection these receptacles provide than not.

If you need grey outlets, these are for you
The outlets in my kitchen needed replacement, and I needed grey ones to match our tile. My electrician said these were perfect. They look great with our tile.

Works great and cost is good
I liked how this item cost about half of what it is at the hardware store. It wasn’t too difficult to install. I had to try a couple times to get the wires correct but all in all not bad.

Indicator is too bright
Get the non tamper proof.

Works well looks nice
When you need a 20-amp GFCI outlet that's white, this is a good option.

👍
Before you install this outlet (assuming you’re doing it yourself), I highly recommend you search YouTube for this exact title: >>>>> “How to Install a GFCI Outlet, AFCI and Dual AFCI/GFCI Outlet | Leviton” Leviton produced a slick, informative, step-by-step, seven minute video that’ll make your work much easier and quicker. Leviton advises in the video that if you have more than 5 wires in a standard outlet box, then this 20 amp outlet might not fit for you (or else call an electrician). It’s a large outlet with a width of 1.69” and depth of 1.38”. I live in an older (1950s era) home, and it was a tight fit with four wires and two connectors. The outlet comes from the factory already tripped, meaning that after you install it and turn the power back on the outlet produces no power. You need to press the Reset button to turn on the power at the outlet. This will only work if you’ve correctly installed it. If you’ve correctly installed it, you’ll see a green indicator light. I purchased the brown-colored outlet. It is very dark brown. It fades nicely into my dark wood paneling (except for that very bright green light). The cover plate that I received with it has color-coordinated top and bottom screws. It’s not the screwless type of plate that was shown in the product photo on the day I purchased it.

Has green indicator light.
Love the green indicator light on it to know when it's powered. My old one broke and didn't have an indicator light.

Be careful when purchasing Amazon inspected like new!
The outlet works great! It’s an Affordable 20a gfci from a reputable brand. Be careful when ordering “like new” Amazon inspected outlets as it seems that people like to place their old receptacles in the box and return them and the checks to see if what was sent back isn’t always thorough. 2 out of the 4 times I’ve ordered outlets sold as like new, I’ve gotten different model used outlets (in this case it was covered in paint). I reordered another like new outlet and luckily the second one was the actual item.
