This is waterproof and avoids those temporary cloudy markings created by some varnishes when a damp object is layed on the surface. Great product - achieved a beautiful result on my wooden kitchen worktop. I turned to this after being failed by other brands . This is waterproof and avoids those temporary cloudy markings created by some varnishes when a damp object is layed on the surface. It cures quickly too allowing you to use your work surfaces sooner than any other acrylic varnish I hace tried.

Caught my interest my dining table, as it is heat resistant as well. Was easy to apply with a paint brush, with quick 45 min drying time as expected. I applied 3 layers without sanding in between, but did not bother starting with 2 layers of satin before the final dead flat, as written on the container. It still seems to do the work and protect my painted table. It even helped hide some of the paint brush marks visible before applying the varnish. No distortion of the colours. Much better than the varnish i used before which ended up tacky after a few months. I will see after a few months and update the feedback if needed.
