the book looks beautiful and it's of good quality. and the contents are amazing of course. if you like maths and are tired of complicated proofs and long computations, this book is the ideal way to relax!

I am delighted I bought this book, it is my first introduction to Euclid and a pleasure to read. The print and layout are excellent, and diagrams are always on the same page as the text that refers to them so there is no need to be flicking pages back and forth like with so many maths books.As discussed in the Editor's Preface, great care has been taken to be true to Euclid's original work, with interpolations and other additions clearly separated where suspected or known.

If you want to know what is elegant Mathematics, what is clarity in Mathematics, what is logical rigour in Mathematics, and above all what is BEAUTY in Mathematics that is relatively easy to follow and grasp then this is your BOOK!An outstanding contribution to the world of mathematics that has survived the test of time- almost an Immortal Work!

A must have for any maths student or enthusiastThis edition of Euclid's Elements is greatIt uses Heath's translation which is extremely accurate to Euclid's original, without extensive revisions and additions in other translations, and the diagrams are really clear, not too small or cramped, and are repeated if the proposition goes over the page, something a lot of editions don't doThe book itself feels really good quality and as though it would last a lifetimeIf you're going to buy the Element's get this edition

Great to read this historical masterpiece of its time.

If you want to improve your ability to think logically and mathematically, study this book. The hardback version is beautiful and a treasure. I wish I had read this book sixty years ago.
