I’m very pleased with this sun shield. I have an Outback and the blue one fits and looks great! The quality is good, thicker and stronger than expected. Keeps the car cooler for sure, and folds easily with a handy clip to keep tidy. It’s oversized in the sense that it comes up the sides slightly for thorough coverage and can easily be tucked a bit into position. Use visors to keep top in place. It’s not meant for perfectly snug fit.. be sure to check sizes to suit - should generally be a good fit for the size sedan or suv you have. I had the umbrella style before, and although it was tapered to spread larger on bottom (in alignment with the windshield) it was much more flimsy and eventually the spokes broke away from nylon 🫤 so I am happy to have this new stronger one that will last! 👍

It holds heat well. Car doesn't get that hot anymore. Before dashboard was getting very hot. It helps to keep temperature cool.

Lasted 3 AND 1/2 Years. I did like this and am sad it has collapsed. It couldn't get through 2 weeks in the Phoenix sun at Mesa Airport while we were gone. It has become flimsy and will not stay in the windshield anymore. Up until now I would say it worked well.....not everything lasts forever though......

This shade is much thicker and heavier than others I've had so it's a little more difficult to install, but after a few times it got a little more flexible and easier to use. Seems to do a really good job of reflecting the heat. Keeps the steering wheel and dash cool. Fits exactly. The part that fits around the mirror can be a little fiddly, so I just leave it slack and don't bother with the velcro closure. It still fits well enough. I tried the suction cups and find them unnecessary. I just pull the visors down and they hold it in place just fine.

Measured. Thought it would fit. Got it. Absurdly too large. Returning. Sure it's fine for vehicles with a windshield the size of a small state. Giving three stars for quality being good.

I got tired of the cheaply made one I was using & found this one to be amazing. It is super thick & heavy duty, doesn’t sag, fits my windshield perfectly (result of actually measuring properly & buying the right size which many of these reviews don’t seem to do) doesn’t need the suction cups since it fits properly & can be secured with the visors. Update: was good for less than 2 years & now all the blue foil layer is crumbling & leaving tiny pieces all over my car so I can’t even use it. Guess I got 18 months out of it so can’t complain but wish things lasted longer these days!

The suction cups are pretty much useless 🤷🏻‍♀️ Update: NOT meant for Arizona heat. It burns my sons finger tips when he removes it and it’s literal burnt to a crisp from the heat. I’m going to have to throw it away

Returning a great product I measured the dimensions of my two original sunshades and they were the same size as this one The original two are 14 and 12 years old each and were used over the years on several cars Currently have a 2016 Mini Coopee Countrymand and a 2010 Nissan Cube Read tons of reviews and the detail that impress Ed ne was the mention of how sturdy thid $25 item was - just like the ones from over a decade ago (like my situation) However, the new one (albeit very sturdy and well built) does not fit my cars The scalloped area to accommodate the mirror post was tops shallow My original ones were each 1.5 inches deeper allowing the shade to be positioned under the mirror No matter how much Ifiddled with it, the new one just would not fit between the mirror stem and the base of the windshield Sadly I will return it BUT just ordered a 1.5 inch shorter one ……..

I liked it because it was perfect for what it was designed to do. It was sturdy and weather resistant.
