Does it really absorbe water and work like a towel after showering?

This robe does NOT absorb water. I put it on after a shower and felt like it just kept the moisture on my skin in my sleeves. Later in the day I put it back on and it was still VERY wet. I had to turn the sleeves inside out to dry it off.

My boyfriend is 6’ foot tall & weighs 167 lbs. What size would be best for him?

A small/ medium would be ok if it is long enough . I am 6' 2" and 195 lbs. and the large/xt large is bigger around than needed, but is the right length .

Will this generate static electricity like other polyester clothing in cold weather?

When I removed the robe from the dryer, which is in the unheated cellar, lots of static electricity. I haven't noticed any since.

Does this robe shed at all?

I’ve machine washed it twice and I found no shedding at all. It’s well made and it’s holding up just like new
