A good match to AmpFlow's E30-150 motor
I purchased this power supply to drive an AmpFlow E30-150 brushed DC motor in a custom CNC mill spindle, and it's a simple connect-and-go affair. Pretty straightforward hookup and implementation. I would like to add, for anyone looking to use this supply for high-powered DC motors like the E30-150, to be sure to include a capacitor to give the motor enough inrush current when it's spinning up. Otherwise, the supply's output voltage will drop to as low as 7-8VDC while the motor is at its current consumption peak. (A 22,000uF 24VDC computer-grade capacitor across the output terminals can help take care of this.)

Good power supply
I have 2 of these..One runs 24/7 powering a dual band Ham radio...Very quiet, the voltage adjustment was a bit finicky to set, Once it was set it's been stable.. I have not heard any "birdies" on any of the many frequencies I've checked.. The secound power supply was purchased as both a spair and for portable operations away from the home station... It has been voltaged set, with the same touchyness as the first one, tested for 24 hrs, and packed into the "go box" Good power supplies for the price

powering RGB LED matrix and peripherals
Be careful when reading the description, product is labeled 80A but the detailed description states that this is 80A short-term and 60A continuous. Luckily my project was just about 60A continuous but I wasn't happy when I found out later. After about three months of use the fan has started clicking loudly, I use this to power a RGB LED matrix array and the clicking is so loud it sounds like an old-timey film is playing the room. Will probably need to replace the fan soon. Power supply is stable enough though.

Entire Lot was Miscalibrated
I ordered 4 of these and the entire lot was miscalibrated to 50v instead of 5v. Definitely not as advertised. And it blew up my project to boot and cost me an extra $150.
