It has great traction when walking on sand as well in the ocean. And it’s so easy to rinse the sand off your feet. They are also comfortable for regular walking. It provided adequate arch support. I’m wearing them everywhere now. I normally wear us women size 7.5 and ordered size 7 in Teva. Size 7 fits perfectly. Review: Extremely comfortable and versatile sandals - I brought these on a trip to NY and they were the only pair of shoes I wore for the entire trip. We went hiking on the first day, walked up to 10 miles a day in the city, one day it rained unexpectedly which was not a problem because they’re water resistant. My feet did not feel sore or uncomfortable AT ALL. Everyone else complained about their feet hurting and my feet were fine. They’re cute sandals that go with everything, I wore them with dresses and shorts and jeans. They feel super light like you’re barefoot but the soles are supportive. I also love that you can adjust the width because of the Velcro. I don’t know how long lasting they are because I haven’t had them for long but wearing them nonstop for over a week they have held up beautifully. There was no break in period either. My husband wants to get a pair for himself now.
