The grabber, shoe horn and sock aid have been immensely helpful. It is nice to have the extra independence after having a major surgery where you can’t twist, bend, or hunch. The grabber has a little magnet on the end which isn’t the strongest but will pick up small things. You can also adjust the strength of the grabbing motion by retying the string located just under the grabber’s moving jaw. The screw at the top is great for hooking onto things and scratching an itch you can’t reach. The show horn is wonderful for slipping into shoes. I have also used it in tandem with the grabber to scoop dropped items off of the floor. Sock aid works as designed. Scrunch all of your excess sock as close to the rope handles as you can for best results and pull up when the edge of the sock aid gets close to your heel. The sponge on the long arm I had the least hope for and really was just a freebie when I bought the set. I though it would fall apart on the first use. I am 3 showers in and it is standing tall. It is great for using with a shower seat or stool to get your legs.

I'm remiss in not reviewing this kit sooner. I bought it 4 years ago, in late 2020, before having both knees replaced. Yes, at the same time. I knew I'd need all the handy helping tools I could find. I had them ready for when I came home from surgery. And 4 years later, I still use the long-handle shoe horn daily to put my shoes on --- just makes it so much easier. And I use the long-handle grabber weekly ---- mainly for getting clothes out of the washing machine! I'm short and the washer tub is too deep for me to reach the last things in the bottom. My grabber is the perfect tool to get those out and into the dryer. This would be a great set not only for those having or had surgery, but also for anyone with mobility issues. Thanks for this kit!

These items were so helpful. Everything you need. The shoe horn has a turned lip you can also use to pull on clothes or pick up items. A nice sponge for the bath for the back, legs and feed. The sock assistant worked like a breeze. I like the pickup stick especially the ability to attach it to the side of my walker or hang over the door knob in the bathroom. You can pickup a pin with the pincher. I just wish it was heavier so it was easier to pick up a can, bottle, or book. It is still very worth the money for surgery time and after

All of the tools in this kit helped me so much with my recovery process after having my hip replaced. It was perfect and I really recommend it for anyone looking for help with getting dressed after surgery.

The sock puter on-er is invaluable. Genius device and works getting any sock, even compression socks, easily on. I use the extra long shoe horn everyday now even after I have mobility. The 'grabber' is also an excellent tool for picking up nearly any small item that might require bending over. This buy was so good, I bought one for my sister-in-law who had just undergone hip replacement surgery herself. Great tool to have even if temporary and a really good buy for the money. Will give to others as a recovery gift.

Had a hip replacement and the grabber stick, sock helper and long shoehorn sure make it easier to do things without asking for help. The grabber stick can pick up a tiny pill as well as a larger object. Very useful tools to help me be more independent.

The grabber has helped my spouse enormously. But the best gadget is the "sock puller". So simple yet "genius". The shoe horn is also a great help as is the long handled brush to help wash her feet while showering. Go for it!

This is all you need for aids after knee or hip replacement. My last day in the hospital the physical therapist assistant brought out products to consider purchasing. He taught me how to use them. I had already purchased this kit and was pleased that I had exactly what I needed. The sock helper is good because it has two ropes to pull on which is better than the kind that has one continuous loop. The gripper works! The shoe horn is handy for my new stylish Reikers! The bath brush is probably the least necessary, but it was a great help in washing the orange disinfectant soap from my leg.
