Suspension is like a pogo stick, some give for the bigger bumps but not soft. Would not recommend for off-road uses. For the price this is perfect, except for the fact that because of the rubber frame guards on the stansions, moisture gets trapped underneath them and rust develops fast; the bike is stored outside, but underneath a tarp. Morning dew will do that given time.
