I am a small breasted, 70-year-old woman with a wide chest. Most other brands in my size have either too narrow bands because of the B cup, where the side and back fat is a problem and they are incredibly uncomfortable OR they are so big because of the wide chest, that it looks like “here they come“ even though what’s underneath does not correspond to what it looks like. With this bra, the wide band and side support with underwire gives the BEST SHAPE EVER! It definitely is smoothing, especially in the back. My clothes fit well and look good. And it is SUPER comfortable. I can wear it all day. I don’t know why others have said that it is uncomfortable and pokes. Perhaps it is a size issue or sometimes a person doesn’t put a bra on correctly. I have to admit that it did creak a bit at first. For me it is not an issue. One extra comment: I did buy a second bra, but when it came, it had been marked incorrectly, and the size was totally off. If it had been my first one, I would’ve been disappointed.
