Silent Quartz Clock Movement, Long and Short Shaft with Hands Battery Powered, Wall Clock Mechanism Motor Replacement DIY Repair Parts

Bought these to repair a clock I bought from another site. I was hesitant as I'm not the most technical person, but hey ho, it all went well and months later the clock is still going well. It keeps great time, very accurate and ticks away silently ! The hands were just the right size and it was good to have a selection to choose from !

I had 2 clocks in need of repair: one with a short-spindle motor and the other with a long-spindle motor. This item looked perfect. The short-spindle repair went like clockwork (😫) while the other needed lots of work to get it to fit! The motor dimensions were only slightly different, but every millimetre was vital! The extra clock hands are really useful. Both clocks are now working well and silently. A little annoying that the delivery charge almost doubled the cost.

Really good value quartz clock motors, great price for 2 plus a choice of fingers, these motors were a perfect fit for the original fingers so we're not needed this time. Some people love the ticking sound but I wanted silence & these make no sound at all. Just beware there are 2 spindle lengths & with thin clock faces the protusion may be too great, I suggest thick packing washers at the rear as a way around this problem. So far as time keeping goes after 1 week they have not needed adjusting.

I am so glad I found these replacement clock components! I have a bespoke handpainted clock that I didn't want to throw away when the clockwork components stopped working. I found these clock parts and was impressed to see they are the silent mechanism. I put one set into the clock face and it now works like a dream, and even better, it's silent!! The old clockwork used to tick so loudly, so it's lovely not to be irritated by that when I'm trying to sleep. I like that there's 2 clock sets, plus a variety of different size/styles of hands. Now I have the option to replace again if any of my other clocks stop functioning. Such a useful set, I am very impressed with it!

I bought this mechanism to replace the motor in my 30-inch wall clock, but it turned out to be too small and under-powered for that size. The product itself seems well made and runs quietly, so I believe it would work perfectly for small or medium clocks (around 10–14 inches). I probably should have checked the measurements more carefully before ordering. I returned it, but I would still recommend it for smaller DIY clock repair projects.

Absolutely brilliant for replacing a broken clock ! I had broke the hand movements that tell the time and didn’t want to replace the clock as I loved it ! Very easy to repair and replace the mechanisms plus spares too

Handy to hang onto in case of breakages. Not used yet but look okay for future problems as we have several clocks

This is the third clock movement I have bought for a very old quartz clock that I have sentimental attachment to. It is the first one that actually works & keeps good accurate time. The hands look good on my clock & I am so very pleased that it is now fully functioning again after several redundant months. Excellent value.
