White Plexiglass Acrylic #2447 is a versatile plastic material that has great impact strength yet is light weight. Plexiglass acrylic can be used for a number of applications such as signage, glazing, displays, picture framing, aquarium tanks, custom computer cases, and much more. Plexiglass acrylic is easy to work with. It can be sawed, drilled, routed, glued, painted, decorated, silkscreened, and formed. We stock 3 types of white plexiglass acrylic.
Allow + or - 1/8" tolerance in width and length. All four edges are saw cut.
White #2447 plexiglass acrylic will allow some light through (more than white #7328 & #3015). White #2447 is often used for applications that need to be back lit, but which need more light to transmit through the material (for example: photo light tables, lighted drawing tables, x-ray chart readers, overhead lights, skylights).
This plexiglass acrylic sheet ships with an easily removable masking.
Nominal 1/8" Thick (Actual thickness will be approximately .090" to .125")

Size:23 7/8" x 23 7/8" Wash Polycast sheet with a mild soap or detergent and plenty of lukewarm water. Use a clean soft cloth, applying only light pressure. Rinse with clear water and dry by blotting with a damp cloth or chamois. Grease, oil or tar may be removed with a good grade of hexane, aliphatic naphtha, or kerosene. These solvents may be obtained at a paint or hardware store and should be used in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations. Any oily film left behind by solvents should be removed immediately by washing. DO NOT USE: Window cleaning sprays, kitchen scouring compounds, or solvents such as acetone, gasoline, benzene, carbon tetrachloride or lacquer thinner.
