Great base station, yes it is designed for the European market and the phone connector supplied is for the old French connection however it’s no problem to unplug the rj11 from your current phone and use it on this one. The supplier kindly included the adapter plug for the PSU as well. This is supplied with an rj45 cable to connect to your router so you have access to the go-box from any browser enabled device. System is VOIP capable and also features giga.net, gigasets own solution allowing you to call other go boxes around the world for free using your internet connection. This coupled with the cl660hx handsets is a great solution even to just replace an aged PSTN setup, prior to this I had an S795 setup which served me well for over 10 years and in true gigaset fashion they are also compatible with this. The manual as well as the default answerphone is set to German which is easily changed to English in the giga.net browser page This is very feature rich and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a high end phone system for the home

I bought one of these for my home. I use it as my home telephone base station and have it configured so that ALL outgoing calls go via VOIP and cost me just over 1p per minute. This allows me to have ONLY landline rental at a very low cost and any outgoing calls go via VOIP avoiding the high landline call rates !! Pretty much any Gigaset DECT phone works with the base station and I believe also other brands. I'm in the UK and use SipGate Basic for my VOIP service. I've been using this now for over 2 years and it works flawlessly. A really great solution for a landline and even better for a combination of Landline & VOIP service.

Didn’t come with uk power adapter and didn’t come with correct rj11 cable (telephone cable). Very annoying and costly, apart from that the box itself works well. I now have 2 for full coverage around the house because luckily I have the telephone sockets to connect another base to. I tried a repeater but it didn’t always hold the connection and frequently dropped out.

Absolutely no use for a standard BT socket. It's designed for possibly Germany.

Io avevo un problema. Dovevo collegare il telefono fisso al modem fibra che però è collocato su una mensola quasi a soffitto e non ho prese telefoniche in casa. Il primo telefono deve essere necessariamente collegato alla presa (doppino telefonico) del modem. Quindi avrei dovuto allungare un filo dal telefono fisso al modem. Soluzione: compro Gigaset Go - Box, lo metto sulla mensola a soffitto collegandolo al modem. Riciclo i due cordless che avevo in precedenza ed il gioco è fatto. Tramite la tecnologia DECT il Gigaset Go - Box li riconosce immediatamente e posso collocarli in casa in qualunque posto li desideri. In più se ne voglio installare altri posso comprarli e fare la medesima cosa. Ho tutta casa cablata senza fili e grazie a questo acquisto posso installare telefoni cordless ovunque lo desideri. Ottima ricezione.

J'avais un boitier Gigaset S675IP. Il a rendu l'âme à cause de la foudre. Le but était de n'acheter que le boitier et pas l'ensemble boitier téléphone J'ai donc recherché un boitier compatible avec mes 2 terminaux S67 et le site Gigaset m'a proposé celui-ci. Le seul que j'ai trouvé est ce Go-Box 100. Il fonctionne avec mes téléphones même s'il n'a pas 100 % les mêmes fonctions. Certaines sont en plus, d'autres différentes comme par exemple la fonction secret qui coupe le micro. Dans l'ancien boitier on pouvait choisir de mettre ou pas la musique. Dans le nouveau on ne peut pas arrêter ce signal. Et son accès diffère. Mais le plus gros inconvénient est que ce boitier vient d'Allemagne et est prévu pour le marché Allemand. Cela se traduit par une prise téléphone allemande, ce qui n'est pas gênant car on peut en mettre une autre. Mais également, pour le répondeur, on ne peut choisir qu'entre l'Allemand et l'Anglais. Le message de base ne peut être que dans ces 2 langues. Heureusement qu'on peut le changer et mettre le sien. Mais le menu de gestion du répondeur ( nombre de message, passage au suivant, effacement...) ne peut aussi être que dans une de ces 2 langues, ce qui demande un minimum de connaissance. Cela vaut une étoile de moins pour ce boitier fonctionnant très bien par ailleurs.

Questo piccolo "access point" avrebbe le carte in regola per offrire un servizio nettamente migliore. Con tutti gli altri device della famiglia Gigaset vanta una connessione e una sincronizzazione degne di marchi ben più altisonanti. Ma resta 1 solo grosso problema: che senso ha commercializzare un prodotto in un paese dove non è prevista l'attivazione dell'unica linea riconosciuta e funzionante con il medesimo.....?!?!?!? In definitiva: che c___o ce ne facciamo del Go-Box 100 senza poter attivare Gigaset.net che in Italia non è prevista......?!?!?!?!?

Das Gerät ist eine DECT Basisstation für Schnurlos-Telefone mit einer klassischen Telefonleitung und der Möglichkeit, zusätzlich VoIP-Telefonanschlüsse (Internet-Telefonie) zu installieren. Die Installation mit klassischer Telefonleitung und mehreren Mobilteilen ist einfach. Die Konfiguration eines VoIP-Telefonanschlusses ist mit der Anleitung des VoIP-Providers eigentlich auch einfach, solange kein Problem auftritt. Wenn es ein Problem damit gibt, ist es nicht so einfach, den Fehler zu finden. Das Gerät gibt keine Fehlermeldungen. Ich hatte nach einem Upgrade meines Internet-Routers (Mikrotik, Version 6.48) Probleme mit dem Verlust der Verbindung zum VoIP-Provider. Ich habe auch Foren gelesen und bin offensichtlich nicht der Einzige mit dem Problem. Es konnte aber niemand herausfinden, woran das wirklich liegt. Jetzt geht es nach einigem Basteln wieder.
