Perfect sound machine! I ordered this little speaker after reading reviews, and once it came in the mail I was thrilled at how compact and easy it would be to travel with. The sound quality was amazing for such a small unit. I was a little embarrassed to realize I had ordered the wrong unit, because I wanted one that could remain plugged in while playing sound. This particular unit is only a chargeable unit and needs to be charged daily if you use it throughout the night. I contacted the company to ask if I could return the unit and purchase the one I had intended to buy and they told me to not worry about returning the original unit and that they would send me the unit I had intended to buy at no cost! Needless to say I thought this was going above and beyond! My baby ended up getting very sick and we were in the hospital for a week with him, and I brought the chargeable dream egg with. The nurses all thought it was amazing and I truly believe that the dream egg was the main comfort thing that helped my son get the rest he needed while we were there. Once we were back home I responded to the email offer of trying the plug in unit and we received the unit in three days! The plug in unit works amazing as well, I love that I do not have to charge it everyday. If I could go back to the beginning I would order both, because as it turns out the chargeable dream egg has been indispensable for long car rides and outings during nap time, and the familiar noise lulls my baby to sleep regardless of were we go. And having the dream egg unit that plugs in gives me wonderful peace of mind that it will always be ready to play sound in the nursery whenever I need it. One of the best baby purchases I have made so far!

I got this machine for my light sleeper and I am so thankful I did. I have a baby and gets waken so easily by the smallest noise. I thought I would try white noise because it was goofing viral everywhere and people were using it for their babies. The machine that was going viral was out of my budget so I thought I would give this a try instead. It is so worth the price. I love it and my baby loves it too. It has different sounds too like sea waves, shush sound , two lullabies, cafeteria sounds and more. I use it every day during night and nap time and it cancels out all the noises around her. It also puts her to sleep because the noise makes the mind clear up and I use it sometimes it I need to rest for few hours. I also use the cafeteria sound when I study just to keep me from falling asleep because it’s makes me feel like I am studying at a coffee place or somewhere with people. I charge it and it literally last all night and during her nap too. So I charge it like every other day. It has timer for thirty minutes, an hour and minty minutes and I think that’s great although I never used the timer. It also so easy to carry when going out or traveling. To sum my review, this product is so amazing and works so great and one last thing, it so loud if put to the highest volume.

I work with newborns for a living and this is the best white noise machine I have ever used. The sounds are wonderful and soothing and the volume range is great. The night light is really helpful too. I have the best job in the world; I provide overnight care to newborns during the first few months of life. I often work with twins and even triplets, and I work to help get the babies on a schedule and sleeping better at night. This product has been a game changer both for work and for my own sleep. Over the years of working with newborns, I have seen what a difference white noise makes. The womb is very noisy and having some loud white noise can calm an infant very quickly, and also keep them sleeping longer. Many of the families I have worked with have had their own white noise machines that I was happy to use; however many parents keep their newborns in their own bedrooms the first few months, and I often will have babies in the common area of the home to allow families to sleep. I didn't want to ask them to constantly move around bigger white noise machines and I got tired of the white noise apps on my phone, so I decided to look for a portable white noise machine that I could just bring with me. I sleep with white noise at home (since I sleep during the day, I need all the help I can get), so I figured I could use it myself for traveling. I was expecting a mediocre sound machine that worked in a pinch. I was pleasantly surprised with how great this little machine really is! First off, the sounds on this machine are excellent. The machine has the standard "static type" white noise, a fan noise, and a music button that plays 9 other sounds including a shushing sound, lullabies, ocean waves, rain among others. The sounds are all really great and play seamlessly throughout the night. The volume control is great too- it is easy to adjust and gets very loud if you need it to. Having worked with many families with newborns, I have gotten to see so many of the baby gear items on the market. I have used some of the most popular white noise machines in the homes of my clients, including the hatch, the dohm, and the baby shusher. I honestly feel that this machine is the best by far in terms of sound quality, volume control, and selection of sounds. The light is really helpful too. I often use it for middle of the night diaper changes so that I don't have to turn on overhead lights or fumble with lamps. It is easy to adjust the brightness and can shine quite bright, especially in a really dark room. One of the things I looked for in a portable white noise machine was the ability to recharge the device. I bring so many things with me to work each night and I don't want to have to carry around spare batteries all the time. I like that this device is easily chargeable. If you are near an outlet, you can just keep it plugged in all night. If you're not near a charger, the charge will easily last a full 12 hours- probably more but I haven't tested how long it will go. That versatility is important to me because my set up with baby changes from family to family. This machine is very portable. It comes in handy while walking around with a fussy newborn- I can just slip it in my pocket and be within close range of soothing white noise at all times. It fits easily in pretty much any bag and is also quite light. The only features I would change: the clip it comes with is a little bit flimsy. Not a big deal at all for me, but if you wanted to keep it clipped to a bag, you may want to get a stronger clip. Also, I would love it if it could connect to a smart phone so you could control it out of the room, however, I realize that is way outside of the price point of this machine. If dreamegg were to make a more expensive but phone compatible model, I would definitely be a customer. Almost every family I have worked with while using this product has purchased it immediately after seeing it. It just works so well and is so easy to use and versatile. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend this little machine. It works incredibly well and is very useful for soothing babies and for helping to maximize infant sleep. It works great for adults who like white noise as well. It's a very versatile and useful little machine at a great price. A perfect product that I’ve used for 5 years. Portable, durable, simple. Easily fits in jacket pocket, purse, backpack, & has ring for hanging up (on stroller.) In addition to kids, the white noise feature also calms pets during loud events (thunder, fireworks) - a huge bonus for our pups.

I bought this white noise machine back in 2021 for my youngest, and she absolutely loved it. I ended up getting another one for my oldest in 2022, and now in 2025 they both still work like they’re brand new! The battery holds a charge, the nightlight is the perfect brightness, and the sound is super soothing. My kids took them everywhere—camping trips, sleepovers, car rides—and they held up through all of it. Now that my babies are older, I’m actually still using these same machines for my nanny jobs, and they continue to be just as reliable as day one. The durability is amazing. Honestly, I wish my kids were still tiny so I could buy the new design too! If you’re thinking about getting one, do it. This is hands down one of the best baby/toddler items I’ve ever purchased.

I loved this product. It was loud enough to cancel out my loud kids so my baby could nap, the light is adjustable, and it's rechargable. I've had it about 4 months and it suddenly doesn't work anymore. It's fully charged, the green LED light is on, but the light doesn't turn on and there is no sound. I contacted the company via email ([email protected]) and all I had to do was give them my order number and a picture of the bottom of the machine and they sent me a replacement, expedited! Given the number of 4 and 5 star ratings, I believe mine was a fluke and not the norm. My older kids are wanting white noise machines as well after we took this one on a trip and we all shared a room. I will probably be getting them these as well.

This was one of two noise makers I bought last winter -- I wanted one that ran on batteries (in case of power outages) and one that ran on USB so I could save money on batteries whenever possible. I use this little dude to calm my anxiety and help mask some occasional pulsatile tinnitus caused by bruxism, and I have to tell you, this thing ranges from barely-audible all the way to shockingly loud if that's how you want it. What's genius about the design is that there's no way for the sound to get accidentally muffled if the speaker is blocked, because the way the noise maker is constructed causes the sound to emit from the entire device rather than from just one face of it. You can stick it in a backpack or in a pocket and there's almost no discernible change in volume. Between that and the light this thing is indescribably handy. As someone with godawful supersonic mutant hearing, I will say that there is a bit of a high-pitched electronic whine underneath the pure white noise function, but unless you've got the hearing of a bat like I do it's probably going to go unnoticed. All in all I love the many different sound options on it (the tunes are so pretty!!!) the device is nice and sturdy, the spiral light is gorgeous, and the surround-sound thing it's got going on makes it second to none. I'm super happy with the purchase and definitely recommend.
