Reliable, with no coasters.
Physical media is increasingly expensive and frustratingly bad as companies cut costs and go cheap. It is a particular issue with BD50 blanks. Thankfully these are exceptional. I have purchased half a dozen of these over the last year and not had a single bad burn. Zero coasters! So as of late 2025 and early 2026, this particular spindle is THE one to buy.

Good quality for the price.
Very good discs, well constructed, but be sure to verify after writing just to be sure. I like to use ImgBurn for Windows for all my backup tasks but I have created discs in Linux and they work just as good with XFburn. I cannot report on longevity but they should be good for years as long as they are stored in a cool dark place. I use these for backing up my content as I'm a video maker and musician so I have a lot of large media files that need to be managed. I use an LG WP50NB40 External USB burner for all my tasks so I know they work great with that unit. As with all discs, you may run into coasters when you get to the bottom of the stack so verify verify verify.

Worse Discs in the history of Earth
I have burned hundreds of these over the years to back up my data. They are stored in a climate controlled area free of dust, scratches, etc. In the past, at the time of burning, I always verify the data on the disc after a burn with a tool to verify SHA1 signatures. About 10% failed the verify and had to be redone. After 1 year on the shelf, I had to retrieve a backup of my data, and 90% of the discs had unreadable files. I bought another spindle of these discs last week, and as I'm trying to burn them, I've had 12 failures out of 15 attempts, I've tried them on 3 different drives (including a brand new drive I just bought to verify that it wasn't by drives), and have tried on 2 different computers. This is a garbage product. Do not waste your money. Any files worth burning to one of these discs you might as well just delete the files now and save yourself the time.

Merchandise 5; Amazon's shipping less that 1
The discs, both single and double layer, are fine. I have bought them several times and they never have disappointed me. The latest delivery by Amazon's own truck is another matter. Somewhere along the line the box was handled so roughly that the sealing tape was half torn away, the bubbles in the interior padding were ruptured (all of them), and two of the four "cake boxes" containing the discs had the locking flanges ripped away from the cake box bases leaving the shipping box littered with plastic shards. By sheer chance, the discs were not damaged, but that was certainly not due to Amazon's shipping system.

Work on LG WH16NS40 (firmware: 1.02)
I had bad luck with ImgBurn, got a couple coasters. I then switched to Nero Burning Rom 2020 and that did the trick. 3 burns so far, no problems. MID: RITEK-DR3-000 I recommend checking the media company's website for drive compatibility before purchasing ANY writable media. There is a reason they have compatibility lists, not all drives will be supported. Also, try to identify which MID's work best for your drive and stick with those regardless of price, it will save you a lot of headaches. To check MID in ImgBurn go to Build mode and open the device tab.

Excellent quality, and great price!
I needed a more "permanent" backup solution for my critical files and these work perfectly. I bought a different brand with only 10 discs in a package that cost more than this 50-pack and had 2 of them fail. I've used 15 so far from this spindle with a perfect burn every time!

These are 4X BD-R Writable media disk not labelled as 6X 50GB BD-R DL
I bought as a labeled "6X 50GB BD-R DL White Inkjet Printable Blu-ray " I just started to use but this BD-R isn't 6X 50GB BD-R DL what they advertised/labeled on Amazon. I have checked most of the just open packs all are 4X50GB BD-R. I have attached the screenshot to your attention. I looking forward to hearing from you soon. King regards, Rohan.

The quality is quite good
For a a mid-ranged price BluRay, they sound and deliver a great picture quality. Highly recommend.

Works great
Burned 6 discs now and not a single coaster. (using an LG MDISC drive) Not much of a sample size yet, but I'm impressed coming from only using Verbatim for the past many years. The coating on the recording side also seems high quality to me. Lower quality discs you can practically see through it. I can finally save some money using these.

44% were usuable.
22 out of the 50 were unusable in either of the two Panasonic Blu-ray recorders in which recordings were attempted. That's a failure rate of 44%. The seller has been requested to send a replacement pack and I will update this review if that happens.
