EPAuto Mechanics Tool Set Drive Socket Wrench Ratchets, SAE/Metric, 122-Piece

The quality of the tools is very nice! It made a great graduation present for my grandson.

First of all, these tools are quality tools in looks and most important, in functions. By that I mean, it has the most used sizes in both box and open end wrenches as well as sockets and ratchets. A lot of tool sets have a high number of “tools” but in reality they are counting such things as individual zip ties and dime a dozen screwdriver bits! I bought this set for the actual tools not the gimmicks that other tool set providers include as “tools”! If I want a couple dozen different screwdriver bits I will buy them separately. Yes, there are screwdriver bits in this set but only the ones that are mostly used. Also, there are not a couple dozen zip ties in this set to up the “tool count”! Overall, in my opinion, this is the best combination of wrenches and sockets for a good price that I need for my workshop!

It's clearly not a premium quality tool kit, but I think there is a lot of value here for someone that needs the right socket on rare occasion. Only had this for a few days and used it to take apart an old lawn mower, but so far I haven't had any serious issues. The 10mm wrench survived a pretty hard beating with a hammer getting a very rusted bolt off. There was some metal deformation where the hammer struck it, but the wrench was in perfect working order. It does require some attention to details. If you open the kit upside down you will have a bad day. The items on the lid are somewhat fastened, but the ones on the bottom are not so if you don't pay attention all the socket will spill out. If you open it the right way, you are mostly fine. A couple of things on the lid, mainly the screw driver, falls out. Putting a peace of duct tape on the slot to cushion it a bit permanently fixed that problem. On the bright side, not having the bottom pieces being held by the case makes it a lot easier to grab what you need. I found it useful, since I don't really have the experience to eyeball the right size most of the time, so there are some upsides too. Overall, I'm quite happy with the item. If you need a set that lies around for the occasional side project this is perfect value for money.

Really good product

This tool-set has about everything to do almost any work on your car. Of course, a good breaker bar or a torque gun should always go along with any tool-set, unless you want the tool case to be huge and heavy just because, there's a 24-inch bar in it. This tool-set is SAE/Metric and it's perfect for any: PM work, Spark plugs, Oil change, Brake job, Body panel/Lamp replacement, Interior work, you name it... This tool-set is very compact, versatile, and super handy. I'd say, get it and keep it in your trunk. It's not heavy, and there's an insulating spongy layer inside the case to prevent sets from rattling and moving around. Honestly, I'd cut out another (thicker) insulator to make parts even more secured inside. I think this is a perfect set to have. I grab it and I know I have 99% of everything I might need for the job. And, it's very affordable!

The sockets for this set are awesome. Super sturdy, I've used with impact guns many times and have never had one break or deform. The ratchets aren't high quality however very few teeth and can fall apart easily. 2025 edit. I decided to add a fifth star to this because despite the ratchets not being great, I have used the sockets and wrenches in the mechanical field for years and I've never had one crack. I've not been kind to these sockets and while I've seen other people at work have sockets from tool trucks crack and break none of mine have even under the same strain.

Tool set is real deal, quality product. Only complaint I have is the sockets are not held in place and will fall out , but this can be fixed by cutting Cardboard the same shape as the foam insert and opening it to where the wrenches are on top, other than that I have no complaints…

This arrived quickly, was fairly priced and appears to be good quality. I would recommend this.

Is packaged well, there’s plenty of items in the package however they don’t clip together very easily very hard to separate. The socket from the ratchet just did not seem to have that quality feel. The bits fall out of the socket, The mechanism on the ratchet is clunky does not seem to have the correct fitting for a T30 bit. at times I couldn’t separate the socket from the wrench. i’m sorry I didn’t go to Bunnings and have a better look at other brands

I've had this kit for over 4 years and it's served me well. Quality is very reasonable. A good assortment of bits is there to handle the vast majority of basic auto work. Case is durable. No complaints whatsoever.
