Himalayan Dog Chew, Bacon Yak Cheese, 1 Medium Yak Chew

So I got this one, as to check it out and see if the pup liked it, because we've got a Mal-mix that hyper chews EVERYTHING. She's about 30 pounds right now, so I thought, okay we'll be safe, it'll last a while... Three days later, it was completely gone. I thought, that can't be right, because it says it lasts a long time. I have no idea what a "long time" means, but I'm guessing it meant more than 3 days.The upside is, she loved it. So much so, I ordered a larger weight level set of 4, to see how long those last each. Hopefully more than 3 days. We're in the 4-7 month teething range right now, so chewing is life for this pup, and if it keeps her from chewing the wood baseboards and even drywall corners or furniture corners, I'll take it.Chewability seems to be fine for a 'hardened' treat like this. Our pup's activity level is through the roof so if it keeps her busy a few hours, awesome for us. She seems to like the bacon/cheese taste, so that's a plus too, but I mean what dog doesn't like bacon (real, not that fake stuff).Even if your dog is under the weight range for the product description, if you've got an "active" breed like a Mal, I'd suggest moving up in size just because if a 30 lb pup can chew up one of these in 3 days or less, they need just a little bit more to keep it going longer. It could also be because our pup gets bored easy and chewing is what they do when bored. We're passed the ultra sharp shredder first teeth and into the large molars coming in along with the other permanent adult teeth.Maybe for ultra chewers they could come up with a different formula, or maybe it's perfect the way it is.

My dog absolutely loves these Himalayan sticks. It is a great value and you get a large bone the last a long time. I have an aggressive chewer and it still takes him forever to chew it. Also you can microwave the small piece of bone after your dog is done with it and then it turns into a puff treat. I buy these all the time. I have a 15 lb Pomeranian and usually get the medium size but have previously gotten a large size and it works just fine as long as it used his bone holder.

I adopted a 2 yr old retriever mix 8 months ago. We have been giving her yak chews the entire time we have had her. I purchased this brand last month and gave her 1 this weekend. All other brands last her a couple of weeks. This thing was gone in a few hours. 24 hours later I noticed she was more lethargic than normal. A short time after that she was throwing up bile with chunks of this chew. Lots of small chewed pieces. This has never happened with any other brand. I will not buy this product again and am going to have to watch her the next few days, to make sure hasn't didn't caused a blockage.0 stars.

I've purchased this twice for my one year old lab (50lbs). It's much more crumbly that the Native Pet yak chews that I typically buy, so it doesn't last long. The second time I bought it, my lab ate the whole thing in about 10 minutes and then puked up all the crumbles. I'll stick with Native Pet for longevity. These would probably be better for small dogs or puppies.

We have a 16 wk Aussie who has a ton of energy and doesn’t settle down easily. By evening we’re exhausted but he still wants to play, bite, and get in to everything.The breeder gave us some kind of long thin chew stick that he really liked, and it lasted a couple weeks, but we haven’t been able to find the exact kind to buy again. We bought the Nylabone healthy edibles, but he finished in less than two hours and they always gave him awful diarrhea. We tried bully sticks, but not much interest, same as braided collagen chews. Jumbones also gave him diarrhea and lasted just mins. He really likes the N-bone edible teething rings, but they last less than 30 mins now.I decided to try these and he loves them, has zero diarrhea, and has been chewing for two evenings and barely made a dent. It’s his special night time treat, and also a treat for us. He sits calmly on the couch for up to two hours just chewing. I just ordered two more so we always have one.I will say they seem pretty salty… he’s very very thirsty while/after eating. He drank a whole bowl of water tonight mid way through his chew session, and then more later, and more after.

My pitbull loved it! It was just the exact hardness to engage her chewing, she never got bored. It was the perfect size and I plan on ordering again in the future

My dog loves these yak sticks. They’re also quite durable, so she doesn’t get through it super fast.

My dogs love the added bacon in the chew. I unfortunately find I need to size up from what the company says is the size of chew for my dogs size. The medium did not last long even though it is the correct size for their weight. My mini aussie went through it in a hour or two which is costly for its price. When I size it it takes them much longer.

My pup loved this item but this only lasted 3 hours for my 1yr old pup. If your dog likes to chew I wouldn’t recommend it for longevity.

My poodle loves this; it will keep her bouncy puppy self occupied for a good bit. No smell, doesn't get slimy. Buying again!
