Review: Not for my 3.5 year old - The book is fairly long for a small child. The pages are quotes or writings or song lines from famous people. The last page is a blessing. I really liked it, but my granddaughter doesn't know who the Beatles are or anyone else quoted... She got bored with the book before we got half way through it. Give it to a grownup that you love as a card.

Pete the Cat Books are just Fun!

Most "Done" Cat Ever Drawn
I work at a library and saw this book; its adorable and has some great long lauded quotes about love with the great illustrations and just how "over it" Pete looks just makes me laugh. Sweet book, reccomend for kids or if you're like me and want to be silly for your significant other.

A nice book for all ages!
This was purchased for a barely 3 year old; but honestly it is an excellent book for teenagers and adults. It is a great book for mentors to provide to their mentees. I like all the celebrity quotes followed by "Pete's" definition of the quote. I'm sure I'll be buying more copies in the future for adults. Unexpected surprise!

Pete the Cat is down to earth
I agree with other reviewers who commented that this is not a children's book. I would recommend this as a gift for adults who appreciate classic quotes and cats. It's light-hearted and cute. It's not for everyone, but for the right person this is a gem!
